associationwith the DelhiNCRStateChapterof AOMSI.Thedepartmentof

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, has been a forerunner and is committed to

conduct professional enrichment programs to upgrade the knowledgeand

clinical skillsof thedentalprofessional.

Weall havebeen engrained with the conceptof placing implants which are

parallel to each other, but are all implant patients ideal cases???? The

humananatomyputs variouschallengesin front of the clinicianat the time

of placement of implants. Though there are technical and surgical

advances in the field of implantology yet compromised ridge, surgical

defects, anatomical constraints make conventional implantology adifficult

proposition in such cases, hence necessitate the need of alternative

approach. Solution to these problems can be angulated implant

placement, which helps the clinician to place, longer implants in dense

cortical bone of the pterygoid, zygomatic region and Inter mental

foramina. Keeping that in mind, the present programme is designed to

demonstrate the zygomatic implants and “All on 4” concept with two live

surgeriesand handson course for “all on four concept” of implantology on

dummymodels.

SPEAKER: Dr. Sankalp Mittal is a renowned

Maxillofacial Surgeon who did his graduation from

Government Dental College, Jaipur and Post graduation

in the speciality of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from

College of Dental Sciences Manipal. He is presently

working as Professor at Government Dental College,

Jaipur. He is mentor for Nobel Biocare and Sigdent

Implant Systems and has done extensive training in the

field of Implantolgy. He is an acclaimed speaker and

course conductor in this field. He has extensive

knowledge and experience in treatment of difficult &

complicated cases of implant and practices Zygomatic,

Pterygoidand“Allon 4”conceptof implants.
