INTRODUCTION

Auto Vigyan was an inception for students who were willing to learn and

explore the Automobile industry, with association from L. D College of

engineering and Carmate Tech Centre Gujarat Technological University

organized a fifteen days’ extravaganza for engineering students of Gujarat

started on 15th June 2015. The workshop was focused on a hands-on experience

and practical learning. Workshop stimulates the experience of engineering

sciences, grooming future engineers to stand tall as they move out of their

institutions.

Today, Gujarat has emerged as a hub in the area of Automobile industry, this

program will provide a striking platform for those who are willing to enhance

their knowledge of Automobile Engineering and also to make them acquainted

with some of the recent advancements in the area of Automobiles. The nature of

course is multidisciplinary. The course could be useful to faculty members

associated with Automobile, Mechanical and Production engineering from

Degree and Diploma Institutions across the country.

Need of Workshop

There is a wide gap between today’s academics which is highly

concentrated on a theoretical concept, rather getting practical

implementations which is a need of today’s Automobile world.

Theoretical aspects of students are very much clear with the conventional

teaching methods but in advanced automobile world the technologies are

much more advanced.

To resolve the gap between the automobile sector and the conventional

teaching the establishment of Internship program for enhancing the

practical knowledge is most essential.
