Module 3: OD Process The diagnostic process, entering into an OD contract, Diagnostic models, diagnosing groups and jobs, process consulting skills, the roles and styles of OD consulting. Understand the process of change; examine the stages of OD consulting, problem recognition, techniques for gathering and analyzing information from clients, and applying the systematic diagnosis to organizational situations. To provide the participants with a comprehensive and integrated view of the field of Organization Development (OD). It aims to present, in a clear and organized manner, the newest approaches, concepts and techniques of carrying out a change process. It also aims to present OD from an experiential learning approach. The facilitators aim to offer an eclectic mix of ideas and concepts from an academician’s as well as from a practitioner’s perspective.

Profile of Expected Participants

Prof. Abhishek Totawar is an Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management area at Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli, India. He is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Indore. His areas of interests are organiza-tional justice, quality of work life, psychological capital, and individual motivation. He has papers presented at conferences like Academy of Management, European Group of Organization Studies, International Congress of Psychology and so forth; and published in international peer-reviwed journals as Human Resource Development Review, South Asian Journal of Management, etc.

Mr. Raghuraman had been a practicing HR professional over the last three decades having worked across industries such as manufacturing, retail and telecom. His exposure to organisations at various stages of growth curve and experience as a change agent during the Merger and Acquisition scenarios during his tenures have helped him gather greater insights to challenges faced by Corporates. He holds PG honours Diplomas from the Open University Business School, UK and the Madras School of Social Work. He is also an Execu-tive Coach and holds a PCC level grade from the International Coach Foundation, USA, and a qualified NLP practitioner. His passion includes areas such as Managing Change, Leaderh-sip Development, Organisational Behaviour and Transition management. He co-teaches a course on with Organisational Development and Change at IIM Trichy.

Programme Duration

This programme will be held at Chennai Centre of IIM Trichy at Ekkattuthangal in Chennai. This programme is non- residential in nature. Participants must report at the venue of the programme on 23rd September 2016 by 9.am for registration.

Module 4: OD Intervention Strategies Designing interventions, interpersonal interventions, team development interventions, inter-group interventions and goal setting. Identify and understand the range of major OD intervention techniques and how they may be applied. Examine the manner in which interpersonal, team and inter-group techniques fit into the OD program and understand various strategies for change.

Module 5: Strategic Change Interventions Transformational change, Continuous change, Transorganizational change, Special Applications of OD.

Programme Fees

The programme fee for each participant will be Rs. 25,000/- plus applicable Service Tax. This programme fee covers expenses towards academic material fee, programme kit, lunch and refreshment.
