Meaning
DEFINITION John W . Newstrom defines the term organisational behavior as
,” the study and application of knowledge about how people as individuals and as group – act within organisations . It strives to identify in which people can act more effectively.’’
Stephen P. Robbins defines OB as ’’a field of study that investigates the impact that individuals, group and structures have on behaviour within organisations for the purpose of applying such knowledge towards improving an organisation’s effectiveness’’.
