CHURCH FAMILY NEWS
1. Anyone who requires pastoral care should contact Ian and
Marjorie Lord, Helen McKenzie or the church office.
2. The Congregational Board will meet tomorrow evening at 7.00
pm. The Kirk Session will meet after the Board meeting.
Relevant papers for both meetings are available in the Deacons’
Room this morning.
3. The Summer Coffee Shop is open again on Saturday 16 June. Do
come along and support them.
4. The Aberdeen City Centre Parish Grouping Prayer Circle will
meet in St Mark’s Meeting Room on Wednesday 13 June at 2.30
pm. All very welcome.
5. Treasure Hunt in aid of the Scottish Bible Society: all are invited
to a Treasure Hunt and Strawberry tea at 1 High Street, Old
Aberdeen on Saturday 16 June from 2 pm – 4 pm.
A Safeguarding Introductory Course is being offered
on Saturday 8 September 2012
in Dyce Church

from 10 am till 1 pm with registration at 9.30 am
This training will be presented by Iris McLean with the help of Penny Simpson
and is the complete course for new volunteers, and is also suitable for those
who want an update.
Dyce Church has requested this training and should fill approximately 20
places. I therefore can offer this date, with no more than 10 places, to other
churches in Aberdeen City Presbytery who may have volunteers requiring
training.
