DELAY IN ORDER LETTER

Page 2: Order, Acknowledgement and Delay in Order Letter

An order letter is written to purchase supplies, merchandise, or services. So that it achieves its purpose, the terms and conditions of the sale should be clear to both parties. Hence, it is the responsibility of the buyer to state accurately, clearly and completely what product or item he would like to order.

Acknowledgment of an

Order LetterAn order should be immediately acknowledged, granted, or not. For small routine orders, a printed acknowledgement or a postcard may suffice but a short letter stating when the delivery may be expected, is better and would help create goodwill.

An Acknowledgment of an Order Letter should have these three A:

Acknowledgment of the order - Since we are writing an Acknowledgment Letter, this is the part where you acknowledge the one that place an order to you that you have already received their order or their order letter, for an Acknowledgement Letter is a reply to an Order Letter.

Assurance of the availability – This is the part where you state that the stocks are complete and they are going to receive their order completely. This part also contains the information “how” and “when” they will receive their order.

Appreciation - The last part contains the appreciation to their orders and the opportunity to build goodwill.

Delay in Order Delivery

Delays and problems are unavoidable in business. That is why we have a Delay in Order Delivery Letter. It is also an Acknowledgment Letter but acknowledging and discussing to them the problems for their order.
