Arrival at Tel Aviv Airport. Exit terminal and meet our guide. Bus transfer to Tiberius on the Sea of Galilee, our home for the next four nights. Welcome dinner at hotel, Mass and overnight in Tiberius. Meals on flight, D
DAY 3: Tuesday, January 8, 2019 – Nazareth, Cana, Mt. Tabor
This morning we visit Nazareth, the hometown of the Holy Family. Mass at the Basilica of the Annunciation, built atop the home of the Blessed Mother. Special visit to the church of St. Joseph, built over where the Holy Family lived. Drive to Cana of Galilee to pray where Christ performed his first public miracle. Renewal of wedding vows for married couples. After lunch, drive to Mt. Tabor to visit the mighty church of the Transfiguration. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias. B,L,D
DAY 4: Wednesday, January 9, 2019 – Mt. of Beatitudes, Capernaum, Sea of Galilee
Visit the peaceful Mt. of Beatitudes overlooking the Sea of Galilee where Jesus gave his most important sermon – the Sermon on the Mount. Private outdoor Mass here. Visit Capernaum to see the hometown of the Apostles, included is the house of St. Peter and the synagogue. Enjoy St. Peter’s fish for lunch. Visit the church of the Multiplication at Tabgha where Jesus fed the crowd of 5,000. Conclude the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias. B,L,D
DAY 5: Thursday, January 10, 2019 – Caesarea Philippi, Tabgha, Druze Village
Mass at the Primacy of Peter site where after his Resurrection Christ appeared to his apostles and said to Peter: “Feed my sheep.” Drive to the Golan Heights and visit Caesarea Philippi where Christ declared St. Peter the first Pope. See where Jesus asked the disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” Visit a fascinating Druze village for lunch. See Lebanon and Syria across the border. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias. B,L,D
DAY 6: Friday, January 11, 2019 – Nazareth, Mt. Carmel, Samaria, Jerusalem
Scenic drive to the ancient place of pilgrimage, Mt. Carmel. Visit Stella Maris Convent and the Prophet Elisha’s Grotto for Mass. After lunch, drive south through Samaria to Jacob’s Well. Next, we make our way to the holy city of Jerusalem. Enter the Old City and see the empty tomb of

DAY 7: Saturday, January 12, 2019 – Bethlehem, Ein Karem
Drive to Bethlehem to visit the ancient Church of the Nativity, built atop the grotto where Christ was born. Enter the cave and pray. See where Mary laid Christ. Visit St. Catherine’s, the cave where St. Jerome lived and the Milk Grotto Shrine. Sing Silent Night in the chapel of Shepherd’s Fields, where our group will celebrate the Midnight Mass of Christmas. Time for shopping at Christian shop. Next, we make our way to the village of Ein Karem to visit the church of the Visitation. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. B,L,D
DAY 8: Sunday, January 13, 2019 – Jerusalem
Follow the footsteps of Christ to Mt. Scopus and the Mt. of Olives, visit the church of the Pater Noster, Dominus Flevit, Gethsemane and the church of All Nations. After lunch visit Mt. Zion to see Dormition Abbey (Our Lady’s Falling Asleep), the ruins of the house of Caiphas, St. Peter’s in Gallicantu (where St. Peter denied Our Lord three times) and the Upper Room of the Last Supper. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. B,L,D
DAY 9: Monday, January 14, 2019 – Jordan River, Jericho, Qumran, Dead Sea
Today we spend the day in the holy city of Jerusalem in the footsteps of the Passion of Christ. Walking tour of the old city. See St. Anne’s church and the pools of Bethesda. Before dawn, we trace the final footsteps of Christ on the Via Dolorosa. See the church of the Flagellation, the Ecce Homo and finally the holiest shrine, the church of the Holy Sepulchre. Mass on Mt. Calvary. Afternoon is free for rest or exploration. Overnight in Jerusalem. B,L,D
DAY 10: Tuesday, January 15, 2019 – Jerusalem
After Mass, we will continue to the Jordan River to renew our baptismal vows. Then on to Jericho to see from a distance the Mt. of Temptation and the famed sycamore tree. After lunch in Jericho, visit to Qumran to see the site of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Optional float in the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. B,L,D
DAY 11: Wednesday, January 16, 2019 – Jerusalem
After Mass and breakfast, a free day for souvenir shopping or to revisit old sites. Special farewell dinner with local cuisine. B, L, D

LIABILITY:
Neither Orbis Catholicus Travel, its affiliated entities and
its and their employees, shareholders, officers, directors,
successors, agents, and assigns (collectively “OC-
Travel”), own or operate any person or entity which is or
does provide goods or services for these trips. Because
OC-Travel does not maintain control or operate the
personnel, equipment, or operations of the suppliers it
uses, as such OC-Travel assumes no responsibility for
and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, death,
property damage or other loss, accident, delay,
inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned
by reason of any wrongful, negligent, willful or
unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any of the
suppliers or other employees or agents; any defect in or
failure of any vehicle, equipment, or instrument owned,
operated or otherwise used by any of these suppliers; or
any wrongful, willful or negligent act of or omission on the
part of any other party not under the supervision and
control of OC-Travel. Additionally, OC- Travel waives any
and all liability for losses or expenses due to sickness,
lack of appropriate medical facilities or practitioners,
weather, strikes, theft or other criminal acts, war,
terrorism, computer problems, acts of God, or other such
causes. All services and accommodations are subject to
the laws of the country in which they are provided. OC-
Travel reserves the right to make changes in the
published itinerary whenever, in their sole judgment,
conditions warrant, or if OC-Travel deems it necessary for
the comfort, convenience, or the safety of the tour. OC-
Travel reserves the right to withdraw any tour at any time.
OC-Travel reserves the right to decline to accept any
person as a member of the tour, or to require any
participant to withdraw from the tour at any time, when
such action is determined by the tour manager to be in
the best interests of the health, safety, and general
welfare of the tour group or of the individual participant.
OC-Travel does not accept liability for any carrier’s
cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of a non-
refundable airline or other ticket to the tour departure city
and return or otherwise. Baggage and personal effects
are the sole responsibility of the passengers at all times.
Passengers may be photographed for the promotional
purposes of OC-Travel. Payment of the deposit to OC-
Travel constitutes acceptance of these terms and
conditions. I agree that any dispute concerning, relating,
or referring to this contract, the brochure or any other
literature converging my trip, or the trip itself, shall be
resolved exclusively by binding arbitration according to
the then existing rules of the Province of British Columbia.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
A notice of cancellation must be received in writing.
Penalties will be to the fax, e-mail, or postmark date. For
cancellation after the October 1, 2018 deadline,
cancellation fee of 100% of the total price. Cancellation
protection travel insurance is highly recommended and
can be purchased at time of deposit.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PASSPORT:
A valid passport is required for this tour and must be in
your possession at all times during the tour. If you do not
have a passport, apply immediately as the process can
entail a long wait. Remember to check the expiration
date of your passport before booking (certain countries
require a minimum of six months passport validity from
the time of your trip). At the time of reservation, OC-
Travel requires a copy of the inside page of your passport
(showing your name and photo).
AIRFARE:
Your airfare is a separate cost. OC-Travel gives you this
option for more flexibility and to give you better savings.
You have the option to book your flights online, with an
agent or with air miles or points. Please note that seats
are limited and may not be available on every flight or
departure date. The number of connecting flights, length
of layovers, and all conditions of air travel cannot be
guaranteed and may change before departure. We ask
you to be reasonably flexible.
LAND-ONLY PACKAGE:
This tour is being offered as a land-only package. With
this option, you are able to secure your own preferred air
arrangements. You are responsible for meeting the
group at the meeting point at the specified time and
location for the roundtrip airport-to-hotel transfers via
coach bus. If you miss the group at the agreed meeting
point, land-only travelers are responsible for the cost and
arranging for their transfers to and from the airport.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
OC-Travel highly recommends the purchase of
international travel insurance that includes medical
coverage. OC- Travel is not responsible for any loss
incurred by the traveler due to a cancelled flight or other
means of transportation. Please investigate purchasing
travel insurance to cover any type of loss associated with
cancelled air or other transportation. Purchase travel
insurance at the time you register and pay your deposit.

PAYMENT TERMS:
OC-Travel asks for prompt payment on the requested
dates in order to keep our prices low and to meet our
deposit schedules with our suppliers. Please see the
reservation form for the payment schedule. Please note:
we prefer cheque. OC-Travel accepts cheque, Visa and
MasterCard for payment.
ITINERARY:
The itinerary presented is tentative and subject to
change. It is subject to confirmations from many
organizations. Because of changes in local schedules,
we may need to alter specified events, dates, or venues,
to better fit the overall plan. OC-Travel reserves the right
to alter or cancel the itinerary, at OC-Travel’s sole
discretion, as it deems necessary for the comfort,
convenience, or the safety of the tour.
LUGGAGE:
Baggage is at owner’s risk throughout the tour. Checked
baggage is limited to ONE bag per person. Details will be
in your final travel documents. For most airlines, the one
checked bag is limited to approx. 50 pounds/22 kg. You
may also bring a small carry-on bag that will fit under or
above your airline seat and later in the coach bus. You
must be able to carry your own luggage. We recommend
luggage on wheels.
DRESS CODE:
Our journeys focus on the needs of our faith-based
travelers. In visiting world famous spiritual sites, take
note - there is often a dress code. Covering of knees and
shoulders is required at religious sites.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
This tour includes a significant amount of walking.
Moderate physical activity is expected on a walking tour.
This includes stairs and uneven walking surfaces. Motor
coaches are often not permitted to pick up or drop off in
front of major attractions. Some of the most unique
sightseeing includes accessing locations that restrict
motor coaches, especially in historic city centres. Bring
appropriate walking shoes. Travelers must be medically
and physically fit. This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
PARTICIPATION:
OC-Travel reserves the right to decline to accept or retain
any participant on any of its tours if, in its sole discretion,
it deems any such participant as being detrimental to the
tour and the well-being of the other travelers. In the event
that any participant is removed from a trip, OC-Travel’s
only obligation is to refund to that person that portion of
the payment allocable to unused services.
GRATUITIES:
Gratuities for your local guide, bus driver and hotel staff
are not included. They are 15 USD per person per day
($165 USD). This amount will be collected in cash by the
Tour Director on the first day of the tour.
