INTRODUCTIONINTRODUCTION

Liquid dosage form are one class of dosage form, which are meant for either internal, external or parenteral use.

Liquid dosage forms are prepared by dissolving active ingredients in an aqueous or non-aqueous solvent, by suspending the drug or by incorporating the drug into one of the two phases of an oil and water systems.

DISADVANTAGESDISADVANTAGES1 . Less stable compare to solid dosage forms.2. Liquid dosage forms are bulky and therefore inconvenient to carry, transport and store.3. Incompatibility is more in liquid dosage forms as compare to solid dosage forms.4. Patients have no accurate measuring device.5. In case of accidental breakage of the container, it may result in loss of the whole dosage forms.

For preparing:- 1,00,000 bottles (each containing 50ml of liquid syrup)

So, total syrup making:- 5000 L
