Recap This past Shabbos was very exciting here at B’nai Torah. We had a special Shabbaton for the Middle school of the Hasten Hebrew Academy. On Motzei Shabbos, Dr. Charles Jacobs was the guest speaker, addressing the topic of antisemitism. We express our appreciation to him & to the Jewish American Affairs Committee of Indiana (JAACI) for organizing the event & to Keisari Catering for the delicious refreshments. Kiddush Sponsored by Dr. Bob Stoner, in memory of his father, Morris Stoner, whose Yahrzeit is Friday, December 7. Seudah Shlishis Sponsored by Simon & Katie Katz in memory of his uncle Leib Katz whose Yahrzeit was Wednesday, December 5. Chanukah Party—This Motzei Shabbos! There will be a Chanukah Party this Motzei Shabbos, Saturday night, December 8, at 8 p.m. The food & entertainment will be prepared by Keisari Catering. There is an anonymous sponsor who has generously underwritten the party, so that everyone can attend for free. If you would like to make a donation it will be on a voluntary basis. It promises to be a wonderful event & we look forward to seeing you there. See page 4. Mazel Tov To Marvin and Natasha Sacks on the marriage of their
son Andrew Thank You! To Mrs. Chanah Winter for polishing the shul’s Menorah. To Mr. Eric Koehler for changing the burnt out bulbs in
the Chapel for new bulbs that were graciously donated by Dr. Bob Stoner
Guest Speaker—Next Thursday Rabbi Ariel Shoshan will be speaking at the Bentley home on Thursday, December 13, 7 p.m. The topic is: The Jewish Secret to Personal Success. Sponsorships are available; please see the event flyer on page 5.
