Oracles Acquires

Together with Oracles applications and infrastructure software, Oracle expects to providethe first comprehensive enterprise project portfolio management solution that helpscompanies allocate the best resources, reduce costs, meet delivery dates and ultimatelymake better decisions, all by using real-time data.

Oracle Enterprise PPM will be tailored to project-intensive industries such as engineeringand construction, aerospace and defense, utilities, oil and gas, manufacturing, andprofessional services.

Primavera employees and management are expected to join Oracle to form a globalbusiness unit (GBU) focused on Enterprise PPM, and to help ensure a smooth transitionfor Primavera customers and partners. Conclusions

Maximum value will come from using BIM and IPDprocesses in harmony

Its not a technology Issue The technology is largely available to deliver the

collaborative working processes and get you up the ramp

If UK Construction doesnt become more competitive,foreign companies will take a large share of the market

People chose their eco-system based on their ability todeliver what is required.

Enabling IPD working increases competitive advantage.

For software vendors, the field of dreams theory isnot enough.it needs adoption & revenue
