Oracle 10g Application Server Installation on AIX 5.7 app Server

1. Login with root user and open terminal windowCreate Oracle user as oras# mkuser oras

# passwd orasAdd oras user to oinstall group#chuser oinstall oras#chown -R oras:system /home/oras

2. Login to AIX with oras userP/w:oras

$ pwd

/home/oras$ vi .profileexport ORACLE_HOME=/oracle/product/1012export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/bin/usr/bin:/etc:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin/X11:/sbin:/usr/java14/jre/bin:/usr/java14/bin

$ cd /oracle$ ls10gDisk devclass mis productAIXFixes dsmerror.log mksysb quoterSuggestionScheme jce-1_2_2.zip motorclaims test.jsp
