Dimes for Missions

The purpose of this program is to keep missions before us all year long and not just a couple times a year. Money collected is divided between US and foreign missions. FBC mails out checks monthly to these missions.

When you drop a dime in the bread box you are remembering our church mission programs.

What about your mission in Clover?

Update: Thank you to all who have

donated items so far. It is

greatly appreciated. This is an

NORTH AMERICAN MISSIONS

From the Sunday School Director...

In last Sunday’s “Explore the Bible”

lesson the community of followers

prayed together and devoted

themselves to prayer. In our Thursday night study on “The

Prayers of Jesus”, Jesus often prayed

alone and with His disciples. The

point was that Jesus prayed to keep

Himself centered on His mission.

How much time do we spend in

prayer each day?

Please mark your calendars for another incredible ladies fellowship on Thursday,

April 28, 2016. Tickets will go on sale April 3rd. For advance tickets, please call

Jo Ann Clary at 803-222-7517. Spread the word and invite all of your friends!

Our guest speaker, Ruth McWhite, is sure to bless you through testimony and her love

for the Word of Jesus Christ.

Ruth is originally from Greer, SC, where she grew up at First

Baptist Church. She and her husband, Allen, have pastored

churches in Manning, Spartanburg and Taylors, SC. They

also served two terms with the IMB in Ecuador.

She is currently the Director of Women’s ministries at North

Greenville University. She has a great passion to see women

come into a relationship with Christ and then grow in that

relationship through the knowledge of His Word.

She makes her home in Travelers Rest, SC. She is the mother of five children, but is

down to only one child living at home! However, her family is multiplying, as three

children have married wonderful spouses and have provided seven precious

grandchildren! So life is full and good in the McWhite household!

Looking for Nursery Volunteers!

Do you love children? Would you like to invest some time in a ministry that is guaranteed to bring you joy and laughter? Be blessed by contacting Lindsey Hoffecker at 803-620-2454 or email at [email protected]
