Terms of Sale

The Customer Service CenterContact the UNICOR OFG Customer ServiceCenter for any questions or assistanceregarding the information in this price list. Our business hours are 7:30 AM to 5:45 PM(EST), Monday through Friday (excludingfederal holidays). Our phone number is (800) 827-3168.

Order AcknowledgmentUNICOR OFG acknowledges every order.Orders are accepted, filled, and invoiced based on the information in this written order-confirmation. UNICOR/OFG contractswith a third party for services and installation in support of its product(s) on the customer’sbehalf. Services and installation represent aseparate portion of the customer’s agreement.Billing will be invoiced upon shipping ofproduct. All other services rendered are subjectto payment at completion of each phase, whensigned off by the customer. Payment forservices and installation is due and payableupon completion of the support services.Should you note any discrepancy, pleaseadvise immediately.

Your order acknowledgment indicates a duedate when your products will arrive. In theevent your products are manufactured earlierthan scheduled, we will ship them uponcompletion, providing that your purchase order states “Early Shipments Authorized.”

Order ModificationsModification to your purchase order will beaccepted up to 6 weeks prior to the due dateindicated on your order acknowledgment.However, if the revision results in a change inproduct availability, a new due date may be setby UNICOR/OFG. Such due date adjustmentmay be for your full purchase order, whether ornot the specifications of all line-items on it aremodified. All purchase order modifications areacknowledged in writing, including theannotation of any adjusted due date(s).

Changes requested after we obtain materials for your order may be subject to an upcharge.Confirmation of your order modification willnote any such additional charge(s).

Standard Lead TimeTypical lead time for seating product delivery is45 days after receipt of your order. However,volume orders having optional finishes orfabrics may take longer, and therefore have anextended due date on your orderacknowledgment.

Product Delivery and PricingWe take both FOB Origin and FOB Destinationorders. All products are shipped via groundtransportation.

On FOB Origin orders, title/product-responsibility passes to the customer at thetime of shipment. You may arrange your owntransportation on FOB Origin orders,coordinating with FPI accordingly. Otherwise,your order will be shipped by common carrierat your expense.

On FOB Destination orders, title/ product-responsibility passes to the customer upondelivery to the dock of the designated point-of-delivery.

Freight charges are included in the productprices listed in the FOB Destination column ofthis price list.

Contact your local UNICOR OFG SalesRepresentative for destination prices wherenone are given. Such destination pricing fordelivery outside the continental U.S. must benegotiated based on the freight rates at the timeof shipment.

Destination price is the cost of product direct to your loading dock. (NOTE: Freight chargesfor shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and overseasdestinations are estimated at time of orderplacement. We will contact you once we obtaina freight quote from our carrier to obtainapproval of charges before shipping).

Installed Price includes installation plusremoval of all packing material and trash.(NOTE: If total value at installation prices isunder $1,500, an additional charge may beadded to cover the cost of installation).

Services, such as space-planning/design,storage, inside-delivery and installation is notaddressed as part of this price list. Special PackagingStandard packaging varies per individualproduct. UNICOR OFG will accommodate yourspecial packaging requests, however, anupcharge may apply. Contact the CustomerService Center for more information.

Shipment ClaimsUNICOR OFG products are packed to complywith carrier requirements. All shipments shouldbe inspected by the consignee beforeacceptance.

The delivering carrier should be requested to record any damage or shortage of itemsshipped. If any shortages are discovered,please also notify UNICOR OFG CustomerService Center immediately.

Shipping damage and shortage claims must befiled with the carrier within 7 days of delivery.This applies to both FOB Destination and FOBOrigin shipments. Carrier liability ends after 15days for shipping damages or shortages.

Concealed Damage ClaimsClaims for concealed damages must be filedwith the carrier within 7 days after the deliveryof goods. This applies to both FOB Destinationand FOB Origin shipments. Carrier liabilityends after 15 days for concealed damages.

Neither UNICOR nor the carrier will beresponsible for concealed damages ifshipments are left unopened and/or claims are not filed with 15 days.

Product StorageIf necessary, UNICOR OFG will store productsat the factory at no expense to you for a periodnot to exceed 30 days, if available. Suchstorage is predicated on the availability of our warehouse space at the time of need.

If UNICOR OFG storage space is not available,or if you require storage in excess of 30 days,we will assist you in finding commercialstorage alternatives at current market rates, at your expense.

Customer-Delayed DeliveriesPlease notify in writing the Customer ServiceCenter at least 2 weeks prior to the confirmeddue date when you cannot receive delivery ofgoods by that scheduled due date. We willdelay the delivery at your request. However,after 30 days of such delay, you will beinvoiced for the subject products whether ornot delivery is extended beyond this first 30days.

UNICOR OFG may allow up to 2 weeks forshipping. Therefore, if you do not requestdelayed delivery at least 2 weeks prior to theconfirmed due date for arrival of yourshipment, you may incur additional handlingcosts.

UNICOR OFG will bill you for such handlingcosts if you refuse receipt of the goods, or request delayed shipment in less than 2 weeks prior to the due date on your orderacknowledgment.

Product ReturnsAll product returns must be coordinated inadvance with the Customer Service CenterAdditionally, all freight or express servicecharges must be prepaid on return shipments.Product returns may be subject to your beinginvoiced for additional handling/restockingfees. UNICOR/OFG will determine and notifyyou of such charges upon receipt andinspection of the returned goods.

Order StatusCall the Customer Service Center (1-800-827-3168) to obtain status of yourorder during order processing or theproduction and shipment/delivery of goods.We will give you the status based on yourpurchase order number and/or the UNICOROFG work order number on your orderacknowledgment.

Product WarrantyUNICOR guarantees all furniture products to befree from defect in materials and workmanship.This guarantee applies to the originalpurchaser of the item and is in effect uponreceipt of the item. UNICOR reserves the rightto determine whether a UNICOR furnitureproduct is defective in material orworkmanship, and whether the below-listedexceptions to the warranty apply. ShouldUNICOR determine that a UNICOR furnitureproduct is defective in material orworkmanship, and no exceptions to thewarranty apply, UNICOR will then, at its option,apply one of the following remedies:

1. Issue replacement parts only. 2. Determine that replacement parts and more

significant labor may be required, andrepair the item.

3. Replace the item.

While we stand behind our commitment toprovide the highest quality standards, there is alife expectancy of products based upon normaluse, defined as being 40 hours per week byindividuals weighing 250 lbs. or less (unlessotherwise indicated) and not subjected toabuse, misuse or damage resulting fromchemical or environmental exposure. Warrantyperiods are measured from date of delivery andor installation.

Warranty Exceptions:a. Missing Products Delivery shortages and incorrect shipmentsmust be reported within 15 days of theshipping date.

b. Abuse or Misuse of ProductsWhile we stand behind our commitment toprovide the highest quality standards, productshave a life expectancy based on normal use.The Product Warranty does not apply toproducts subject to abuse, misuse, neglect,alteration, improper or unreasonable use ormaintenance, negligence, accident, or exposureto inclement weather conditions.

c. Obsolete products with remainingwarrantyFor furniture items that are no longer inproduction or their parts are no longercommercially available to support repair orreplacement of in warranty items, customerswill be offered either a replacement item or adiscount toward the purchase of a comparableitem.

Products have the following warranty, unlessotherwise specified in the purchasingagreement:

CASEGOODSHigh wear components such as casters,glides, plastic components and lockingmechanisms are warranted for 10 years afterthe date of shipment to original owner.

SEATINGHigh wear components such as casters,self-skinned urethane parts, plastic shells andgas cylinders are warranted for 10 years afterdate of shipment to original owner. Seating control mechanisms arewarranted for 10 years after shipment to theoriginal owner.Fabric and leather are warranted for 5 yearsunder normal use and maintenance aftershipment to original owner.

SYSTEMSHigh wear components such as slides andlocking mechanisms are warrantied for 10years after date of shipment to original owner.Electrical components are warranted for 10years from the date of manufacture withexception of lamps and ballasts which are notwarranted. Panel fabrics are warranted for 5 years undernormal use and maintenance to fading afterdate of shipment to original owner. Steel structure components are warrantedagainst defects for 5 years under normal useafter date of shipment to original owner.Warranty does not apply to finishes.

ERGONOMICS ACCESORIESHigh wear components such as gascylinders are warranted for 10 years after dateof shipment to original owner.

Any non-standard material (COM/COLmaterials) selected by the customer is notwarranted. Neither does this warranty apply todamage resulting from accident, alteration ormisuse, as well as scratches, fading andimproper maintenance. OFG assumes noresponsibility for product damage resultingfrom improper installation, user modification ordamage resulting from chemical orenvironmental exposure.

Wood owes its inherent beauty to variations incolor, grain and texture, and therefore thesevariations are not considered defects. OFGdoes not guarantee the exact matching of grain,pattern and color to all other office products.

We have taken great care to accuratelyphotographically reproduce finishes for oursamples. However, there may be variationsbetween the photographic and actual finishesor fabrics. To ensure the fabric selection meetsyour expectations, please ask your OFG salesrepresentative to provide a sample swatch priorto making your decision.

LAMINATE SURFACES AND WOODFINISHES1 year warranty on wood finishes, laminateself edges, veneer tops or molded edgetops. Laminate and wood finishes are notwarranted against the following:

• Damage resulting from unusual environmental conditions (extreme climate,acids and moisture)

• Damage resulting from prolonged exposure to UV light

• Damage resulting from abrasive cleaners• Damage resulting from improper storage

Labor and ServicingLabor and servicing cost are covered for 1 year from the shipping date to the originalowner.

UNICOR reserves the right to request that thedamaged product be returned prior to grantinga remedy.

UNICOR offers no other warranty, eitherexpressed or implied, including any warranty ofmerchantability or fitness for a particularpurpose. UNICOR shall not be liable forconsequential or incidental damages arisingfrom any product defect.

COM Fabric RequirementsAll fabric or upholsteries must be approvedprior to acceptance of an order. Upon approvala memo sample swatch must accompany theorder. UNICOR/OFG assumes no responsibilityfor wear or defects of performance of any COMor COL supplied by sources other than OFG.

Use of COM as panel fabrics require ULapproval and must be tested for approval priorto acceptance of an order. UNICOR/OFG willrequire three yards of the actual panel fabric to be tested prior to quoting.

All COM fabric or upholstery must be receivedin continuous linear yards. UNICOR/OFGrequires a 5-10% overage clause to insureappropriate amount of coverage.

COM Material AcceptanceUNICOR/OFG reserves the right to reject COMfabrics or upholstery that are not suitable forthe intended application Customer selectingany COM or COL takes responsibility ofperformance of the supplied product.

Pedestals are available in sizes and drawercombinations to suit any personal storagerequirement. Freestanding and mobile units are designed to fit below most worksurfaces.Hanging and worksurface supporting units aresized to fit under all UNICOR systems furniture.

Preconfigured UnitsTo simplify the specification process, we offer preconfigured pedestals in the mostpopular sizes with the most popular internalcomponents. These units are assembled using standard components.

HeightFour pedestal styles are available. Heightsinclude 1⁄4" allowance for leveling glides fullyrecessed. Worksurface Supporting: 277⁄8"Freestanding: 223⁄8", 255⁄16" Mobile: 245⁄8",275⁄8" Hanging: 193⁄16" , 221⁄8".

DepthProducts are available in three standard depths:175⁄8", 215⁄8" and 275⁄8".

WidthAll products are 15" wide.

CONSTRUCTION AND STANDARDFEATURES

Basic ShellTwenty-gauge steel body with 20-gauge steeltop and box frame front and back uprights.Uprights are notched in 3" intervals for drawersuspension mounting.

DrawersFronts: Two-piece metal construction. Twenty-two gauge steel outer skin welded to 22-gauge inner liner. With full width insetpull. Drawer fronts overlap front of pedestal.

Three-inch (pencil) drawer: Single wall two-piece construction. Body 22-gauge; back 22-gauge. Operates on two section 3⁄4 extension ball bearing suspension.

Six-inch (box) drawer; single wall two-piececonstruction. Body 22-gauge; back 22-gauge.Operates on two-section 3⁄4 extension ballbearing suspension.

Twelve-inch file drawer: Single wall, two-piececonstruction. Front liner 20-gauge; body 22-gauge. Mounted on full extension slide arm suspensions.

Adjustable GlidesFreestanding and floor supporting pedestalsinclude four glides, adjustable from outside the cabinet.

CounterbalanceCounterbalance weight is standard in certainmobile units and in all freestanding units.

Caster KitConsists of four twin-wheel hooded casters.Front two casters are locking; rear two castersare non-locking.

LocksLocks are standard on all units. The lock is a high-security single-bit type. Units arestandard with random keys in a range of 100 different numbers. Specific keyingcombinations are available at no additionalcharge. This information must be included with the order.

All locks have removable and interchangeableplugs. This feature provides for on-site customkeying. Locks can be supplied with the plugsinstalled or shipped separately. To order plugsfor field installation, specify “lock plugs notinstalled" on order. Order must specify totalquantity of specific key-numbered locks.

Paint FinishesAll products are chemically etched prior topainting. This process enhances top coatbonding. The top coat is epoxy powder paint.

All inside and outside shell and drawersurfaces are painted with the same specifiedpaint color.

Interior components and accessories arepainted black. Mechanical components areblack chrome-plated.

Colors shown in the current swatch card arestandard and are available where specificationscall for painted surfaces.

Special Paint FinishesAll special colors, including othermanufacturers’ standard enamel finishes, areavailable subject to the following conditions:

1. Two steel color chips (minimum 3"x 5") arerequired for color matching purposes. Papersamples are acceptable; however, a reasonabletolerance must be allowed when comparing thetwo variations.

2. All nonstandard colors are available at an up-charge and may be subject to extendedlead times. Orders will not be processed untilcolor match is approved. Verbal approval isaccepted; however, written confirmation mustfollow. Contact your local OFG SalesConsultant.

GENERAL INFORMATION

UNICOR Radius pedestals are available in sizesand drawer combinations to suit any personalstorage requirement. Radius pedestals differfrom standard Opus pedestals with 5⁄8"radiused front edges. Freestanding and mobileunits are designed to fit below mostworksurfaces. Hanging units are sized to fitunder all UNICOR systems furniture.

Our lateral files are designed to efficientlyaccommodate virtually any filing and storagerequirement.

Preconfigured UnitsTo simplify the specification process, we offerpreconfigured files and storage cabinets in themost popular sizes with the most popularinternal components. These units areassembled using standard components.

DepthAll lateral files and storage cabinets are 18"deep.

WidthLateral files and storage cabinets are availablein three standard widths: 30", 36" and 42" inmost models.

Basic ShellThe shell is common to lateral file and storagecabinet units. Uprights are punched to acceptinterior components on 11⁄2" centers. Uprightsand top and bottom reinforcements are weldedinto rigid “boxframe.” Constructed of 18- and20-gauge steel. Seamless back and top withreinforced corners.

Illustrated shell heights include 1⁄8" foradjustable glide in recessed position.

Doors/DrawersDrawer fronts: 20-gauge steel with full-widthflush inset pull and label holder. Fronts arescrew-mounted to roll-out shelves to builddrawers. Roll-out shelf body: 22-gauge steelslotted on 11⁄2" centers to accept dividers.Leading edge formed to provide pull; centersection offset for additional strength. Shelfends, 19-gauge steel, notched to accepthanging folder bars. Each roll-out shelfequipped with two heavy-duty, three-section,ball-bearing suspensions.

Components have been tested to accept loadsof 125 lbs. This exceeds ANSI/BIFMA X5.9-2012 standards for lateral files.

Hinged door: 20-gauge steel, double-wallconstruction. Equipped with outward stop toprevent contact with adjacent cabinet and fullheight vertical flush inset pull.

ShelvesBlank shelf: 22-gauge steel, formed 7⁄8" thickon front and back edges. Shelf offset alongwidth to increase strength. Slotted on 1"increments to accept plate dividers.

Lateral files meet or exceedANSI/BIFMA X5.9-2012 standards.

Receding Door20-gauge steel with full-width flush inset pulland label holder. Doors have guidingmechanism fitted with nylon glides to preventmetal-to-metal contact and ensure effortlessoperation.

Adjustable GlidesLateral files and storage cabinets are suppliedwith four adjustable glides. The glides can beadjusted from inside the cabinet using a 1⁄4"hex socket wrench, or from outside the cabinetusing a 7⁄8" wrench. Standard glides provide3⁄4" adjustment; longer glides are alsoavailable. Overall cabinet heights include theglide in its recessed position.

LocksLocks are standard on all units. The lock is ahigh security, single bit type. Units arestandard with random keys in a range of 100different numbers. Specific keyingcombinations are available at no additionalcharge. This information must be included withthe order. Locks can be master keyed.



Interlock MechanismsAll lateral files are eqipped with a uniquepatented interlock safety system which permitsonly one drawer to be opened at a time. Thesystem is designed to reduce the risk of a standalone unit tipping over.

Standard Paint FinishesAll products are chemically etched prior topainting. This process enhances top coatbonding. The top coat is a high solids epoxyenamel. The enamel is baked on to provide ascratch- and stain-resistant surface.

Interior components and accessories are black.Mechanical components are black chrome-plated.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Vertical files are available in sizes to suitvirtually any paper storage requirements. 11"high drawers are available in combinations of2, 3, 4 or 5 drawers. Vertical files are availablein either 15" width for letter size paper, or 18"width for legal size paper. Drawers comepreconfigured with either folder bars forhanging files, or compressor followers. If bothaccessories are desired in one drawer, orderthe unit with compressor followers, andseparately order one set of folder bars for eachdrawer.

Basic ShellThe shell is a 20-gauge steel unit with four 18-gauge vertical uprights. The uprights arepierced to allow internal components to fit inprecise positions.

DrawersDrawer fronts are 22-gauge fronts and 22-gauge inner surfaces spot welded together toform a 3/4" thick front. Fronts are screwmounted to roll out shelf bodies and feature afull width flush inset pull with a label holder.

The drawer body is 22-gauge formed steel thatis punched to accept the option of eithercompressor follower mechanisms or hangingfolder bars.

SuspensionsThe three piece progressive action suspensionassembly allows the back of the drawer toextend clear of the front face of the cabinet. Thesuspension features 116 hardened steel ballbearings per suspension.

Adjustable GlidesVertical files are supplied with two adjustableglides near the front edge of the cabinet. Theglides can be adjusted from inside the cabinetusing either a straight blade screwdriver or a1/4" hex socket wrench, or outside using a 7/8"wrench. Glides provide 3/4" of adjustment.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Bookcases have been designed to optimallystore standard three-ring binders on allshelves. Shelves are adjustable on 1" increments to accommodate other media storage needs.The units described on the following pages

are to suit the most common storagerequirements.

Basic ShellShells are unique to bookcases, featuring aflush inner liner. The liner is punched to acceptshelf brackets on 1" increments, startingapproximately 8" from the bottom of the cabinet and terminating approximately 8" fromthe top of the cabinet. The liners, top and bottom reinforcements are welded into a rigidbox frame. The shell is constructed from 18-and 20-gauge steel, with multiple strategicallylocated offsets to maximize strength. The backis seamless. All corners are reinforced.Illustrated shell heights include 1⁄8" for

adjustable glide in recessed position.

ShelvesShelves are constructed using 22-gauge steel,formed 7⁄8" thick on the leading and trailingedges to enhance strength.

Adjustable GlidesBookcases are supplied with four adjustableglides. 2. All nonstandard colors are available at noadditional charge (excluding hi-chromaticcolors) , but may be subject to extendedlead times. Order will not be processed untilcolor match is approved. Writtenconfirmation must accompany order.

3. Textured paint finishes are available at a 5%up-charge. OFG has a set of standardtextured paints available at a 5% up-charge.All other nonstandard textured colors followthe same procedure for color matching aslisted above.

4. Special Metallic or Mica finishes mustfollow the following procedure:

All Metallic and Mica finishes are subject toan up-charge. The up-charge will be basedon the particular color requested.

All Metallics or Micas must provide a steelcolor chip sample.

All Metallic or Mica finishes require a 3-week turnaround on samples and do requirean extended lead time on the actual order.

Please be aware that metallic finishes can beinconsistent. The metal fleck can createpatterns that are visible on large flatsurfaces.

Adjustable GlidesKiosks are supplied with four adjustable glides.The glides can be adjusted from inside thecabinet using a 1⁄4" hex socket wrench, or fromoutside the cabinet using a 7⁄8" wrench.Standard glides provide 3⁄4" adjustment; longerglides are also available. Overall cabinetheights include the glide in its recessedposition.

LocksLocks are standard on all units. The lock is ahigh security, single bit type. Units arestandard with random keys in a range of 100different numbers. Specific keyingcombinations are available at no additionalcharge. This information must be included withthe order. Locks can be master keyed.



Interlock MechanismsAll lateral files are eqipped with a uniquepatented interlock safety system which permitsonly one drawer to be opened at a time. Thesystem is designed to reduce the risk of a standalone unit tipping over.

Caution information is also permanently affixedto the left side of each drawer.

Both labels contain important installation andloading information.

Installation InformationComplete instructions on the properinstallation and use of the files are provided ina Users Guide in each file shipped.

The instructions refer to correct methods ofleveling, ganging and loading.
