NOVA SCOTIA…WHERE IS IT??

WHAT IS NSNP ?? NSNP is an immigration recruitment and selection

program that allows Government of Nova Scotia to nominate to the Canadian government.

A nominee, along with his or her spouse and dependents , approved under the program may become permanent residents of Canada following approval by the Canadian government.

The Regional Labor Market Demand stream is aimed at selecting individuals who meet the labor market needs, wish to work and live in Province of Nova Scotia permanently.

WHO CAN APPLY ??? Age between 21 – 55 at the time the Nova Scotia

Office of Immigration receives your complete application

Achieved Minimum language ability CLB level 5 IELTS: L – 5, S – 5, W – 5, R – 4 Overall - 5

Occupation listed in National Occupation Classification

Bachelors Degree

At least two years of full time work experience in the nominated field with in the last 5 years

LEVELS OF APPROVAL.. Applications under the Regional Labour Market Demand

stream requires two levels of approval before permanent residency status can be obtained

Level – I

If you meet all the eligibility criteria, you are eligible to apply to the Nominee Program by submitting complete application package.

Level – II

If you are nominated by the Province of Nova Scotia, you may then apply for the permanent resident visa to the Government of Canada, trough Citizenship and Immigration Canada, as a Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee.

FEES, DEADLINE & TIME… There is no provincial application fee under NSNP. You

must, however, pay all the required Government of Canada Immigration fee when you submit your file to CIC.

There is no deadline for applying to the NSNP, however program criteria may change without notice.

Opulentus Fee: 70 k + 12.36% GST

The processing time for complete applications eligible for consideration can take up to one month or more depending on the volume of the applications received and the time required for verifications of documents included in the application.
