GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
•Registration fee-Rs.500/- per participant (Includes Registration kit & Food)
•Free accommodation available on request
•The event is open only for MBA students
•Students with valid college ID cards or Bonafide letter only will be permitted
•Only the participants will be allowed inside the venue
•Plan your events based on the schedule given. No changes will be allowed during the events.
•Discussion outside the team will lead to disqualification

Event 1 - STEVE JOBS:
Keeping cool when the hounds drool!
Presenting “Turnaround CEO”, the crisis
management event of OPULENCE2017. It
tests your ability to handle difficult situations.
No managerial role is devoid of crisis and that
is the focal point of this event. All companies
want to use crisis to their advantage and gain
additional traction in the market. Can you take
on this challenge for a company and come out
on top? If yes, Turning Point is the event for
you!
While it is crucial to have strong turnaround leadership when a
company is facing bankruptcy or hoping to emerge.

Event 2 : WAG THE DOG Develop an advertisement for a firm right
from its creative brief to a social media
campaign. Creativity is the soul of
advertising and branding. It is what gives
life to messages about products and
services that may otherwise be boring or
insignificant in the hearts and minds of
target customers.
RULES& REGULATIONS:
•A team will consist of 3members.
•All members of a team should be from same institute.
•A student cannot be a part of more than 1 team.
•There is no restriction on the number of teams from an institute.
• Round 1 : Marketing Quiz written •Round 2 : (Shortlisted Team) As a leading marketing agency, develop an advertisement for a firm right from its creative brief to a social media campaign. Evaluate the strategic roles of a variety of communication disciplines advertising, public relations, personal selling, and sales promotion and combine them to provide clarity, consistency, and maximum communication impact. •Each team need to present and pitch their ideas and convince their client and judges as well. Duration 10 min
Event 3 : WOLF OF WALL STREET : If you are confident that some stock will give you good returns in spite of the market conditions, take up that stock and back your claim with a thorough equity research report. In the deep mines full of junk stocks can you find a diamond? Do you have the thoroughness, analytical skills and systematic thinking required to deliver a compelling and complete report and convince the judges?

Event 4 : OUR BRAND IS CRISIS: Pioneering a brand today is not an enviable task – from managing brand ambassadors to CSR activities, everything demands perfection. The real challenge, however, comes from the relentless competitors that are willing to go any lengths to diminish each other’s success.

Round 1 : Branding Quiz written Round 2 : Brands with least mileage will be given. Participants need to present their brand strategy . Presentation time 10 min
Event 5 : A SMALL ACT The event aims to promote and award substantial student activity at the ground level in raising awareness and being an effective change with respect to social issues like alcohol abuse, child labor etc.

•A team will consists of 3members.
•The members of team cannot be from different institutes.
•A student cannot be part of more than one team.
•There is no limit to the number of teams participating from an
institute.
Round 1 : Documentary presentation on any social problem Entries need to be submitted through mail before 20th March 2017 Round 2 : Short listed teams will campaign for a cause during the event inside the campus through various promotion strategies and also through social media

Event 6 : MARGIN CALL: Today’s business challenges demand timely financial information that enables executives, managers, and front-line employees to make better decisions, take action, and correct problems before they affect the company’s financial performance. Take multiple and granular views of a company’s financial data and use it to gain insight and take action.

Participant must bring their own laptops (with WiFi modem). WiFi connection will be provided by us. However we encourage you to bring your own devices for internet connectivity. Rules: •This is a team event, with each team consisting of 2 participants. Members of the team should be from the same institution. •The submissions are to be attempted in a team, not individually. • Data information will be given for analysis and you use any software languages or programs to analyse the data. •Multiple teams can participate from one college. •Please adhere to the deadlines given, requests for extensions and late entries will not be entertained. •In the case of any dispute, the decision of the organizing team shall be final.
Event 7 - The Candidate : Promising politicians qualities are often backed by skills, experiences, intelligence, integrity, with instincts -all combined together to achieve their goals. Do you have the skill in you ? Then be the Candidate and win peoples support!!

EVENT 8 – BOILER ROOM: welcome you into BOARD ROOM. A chance to test your leadership skill and deal with some classical and a few innovative crisis management scenarios.
Rules :
•This is a team event, with each team consisting of 3
participants.
•Members of the team should be from the same institution.
•Multiple teams can participate from one college.
•In the case of any dispute, the decision of the organizing
team shall be final.

Round 2 :
The board of directors will play a simulated game to manage
all the functions of management and result with a good
profit than their competitor.
Event Partner : Knolscape
Each team would be given a certain amount of money (virtual cash). The team has to bid for the players in the auction. Each IPL player would carry a credit point and a base value; this would be displayed in the auction. The team should make wise investments by having players in all the departments like batsman, bowler, wicket keeper, all rounder, Spinner etc. The winner will be declared based on the credit points and how the departments are organized in the team.
Game Rules: 1. Written prelims will be conducted (questions on cricket). The top 8 teams shortlisted will enter the Final auction 2. Each team has to buy 7 players and in which 3 should be foreign players and 4 Indian Players 3. The team which has all the departments organized (bowling, batting, wicketkeeper, spinner, all rounder, etc) and with highest total credit points will be the winner 4. It is not necessary for the team to have the balance amount, but buying the players after the balance is over will lead to disqualify
Non Business Hours
• Minimum 2 and maximum 6 participants per team is allowed • Only one team from a institute can register
•Participants should bring their own camera. •Topic will be given on the day of event. •Downloaded pictures will be considered to be disqualified
•There will be two persons in each team. •Only one team per college. •The students have to find the pronounced word in midst of disturbances.
