OPTOMANAGER WALKTHROUGH – MECS MODULE (“FLASHES AND FLOATERS”) When you login into Optomanager – you need to select the Minor Eye Conditions (MECS) Gloucestershire Primary Eyecare option. Slightly different to the previous episodes you are asked to double check the patient isn’t already on the system. This is to make sure there is no duplication – there is a chance that the patient may have already been seen under the service by your (or another) practice. Just one character can be inputted in one box to allow the search. (If left blank no search can take place) If the search reveals the patient you can click “Add new episode” or “Click here to register a new patient” if your patient is not found.
