THE HISTORY OF TRUSSARDI

Starting out in 1911 as a factory for luxury leather gloves, the Trussardi Group quickly established a reputation for excellence under the guidance of its founder Dante Trussardi. His grandson Nicola Trussardi transformed the brand into an industrial group in the apparel and luxury goods sector and diversified the product portfolio. His vision was to create a brand that would embrace every aspect of life, always embodying the highest standards of design and materials. Trussardi has always stood for excellence, subtle sophistication, experimentation and innovation. Today it has one hundred years of experience in luxury apparel and accessories for men and women.

Trussardi Group stands for a new lifestyle, based on excellence; for more than a hundred years now the

brand has represented the strength and creativity of a fashion house, the commitment and values of a

family. Today Trussardi Group is still a family-run business, yet it has expanded to reflect the pace and

lifestyle of our times. The fourth generation of the family now holds the reins of the company, turning

its orientation as a lifestyle brand into a daily quest to represent the essence of all Italian-quality: To-

maso Trussardi is the CEO of Trussardi Group and Gaia Trussardi is the Creative Director.

Trussardi is a multifaceted world characterized by a transversal mix of fashion, art, food and design.

With solid roots in the Italian artisan tradition, the Group is present in the fashion sector with its Trus-

sardi main line, symbol of effortless elegance, and its Trussardi Jeans line, which represents the casual

and contemporary side of Trussardi style.

Always evolving, the brand has expanded and shows itself through a range of diverse licenses: perfu-

mes, eyewear, furniture, home linen, watches, underwear, beachwear and junior lines. This diversity

enables the brand to fully express in all sectors its DNA , its heritage and its tradition.

Trussardi Eyewear pursues the same objectives as the fashion house as it seeks perfection in every area of its expertise. It expresses the brand‘s values of refinement and distinction through its choice of raw materials and finishes, and its outstanding design process is used to create innovative, contemporary eyewear. The Trussardi Eyewear Collection embodies everyday elegance. Ideal for dynamic metropoli-tan lifestyles, it blends contemporary trends and Italian design, and it also uses leather – an important part of the brand heritage – in unique new ways.
