The Urban Planners’ Exhibition is a traditional annual manifestation held by the Serbian town planners association, which is the review of the most significant, current accomplishments in the area of spatial and urban planning, urban design and their realizations. After premier exposition in Belgrade, the entire or partial setup of the Exhibition will be presented in other cities in Serbia and abroad.Eligible participants of the 23rd Urban Planners’ Exhibition are the members of the Serbian town planners association, institutions and individuals from the Republic of Serbia, Republic of Srpska and other countries. The invitations for participation on 23 rd Urban Planners’ Exhibition will also be sent to correspondent professional unions and urban planning associations and individuals abroad.

The 23rd Urban Planners’ Exhibition will be organized as regular, with works within the following categories:

1. Spatial Plans2. General Urban Plans3. Plans of General Arrangements4. Plans of Detailed Arrangements5. Urban projects and realizations6. Competitions7. Researches and Studies from the area of urban and spatial planning8. Environment protection through Studies and Plans9. Application of information technologies10. Publications11. Students’ works

Works that were not exhibited before are allowed to be submitted. Application for the 23rd

Urban Planners’ Exhibition should contain graphic illustration of the work and textual data of the work and the author(s), including short description of the work in Serbian and English (in Microsoft Office Word) for the Catalogue.Deadline for the application of the works for participation on the 23rd Urban Planners’ Exhibition (CD with textual and graphic illustration for Catalogue) is 3rd October 2014, and deadline for works submission is 21st October 2014.Selection committee starts on 24th October 2014 and will conclude the list of works that will participate at the Exhibition and that will be presented in the Catalogue until 27th October 2014.The Jury of the Exhibition will be in session from 5 th November 2014. The Jury will take into consideration only those works that were recognized by the Selection Committee to meet the conditions to be exhibited.Total number of works that will be exhibited can be limited, but the number of student works should not exceed 10 percent of all works that will take part at the Exhibition (the number shall be determined by the Selection Committee).Take-over of the works that were not accepted for the Exhibition will be organized upon the premier exposition of the Exhibition.

The works that will be exhibited at the 23rd Urban Planners’ Exhibition should be arranged strictly as follows: 70/100cm poster (max. 2 posters, on paper or thin cardboard, without any frame,

arrangement according to the participant); exhibition of the publications that are contributing to the urban planning profession

methodical innovative presentations as well as improvement of standard methods, and spatial and urban plan design using digital technology within special category.

Videos, slides, computer and other enclosures that represent additional explanations of the works exhibited on the posters are

mandatory, they should be reported and delivered along with the exhibition application on the CD, and they shall be examined by the jury.All the posters must have blank space 10/10cm in the lower left corner, reserved for the Exhibition logo and catalogue number. Each poster must be signed by the author, and in case that work is being presented by two posters their order should be marked.Companies/institutions and individuals can submit their works in all categories. Individuals can submit their works in the first four categories only with consent of the company/institution that they were made at.

Exhibition awards are: Grand Prix of the Exhibition and Award for the best works in all categories. Jury has the right to award up to three awards as well as not to award any of the submitted works in each category. Jury members can be members of work teams of the works that are exhibited, but in such case, they don’t have the right to evaluate that particular work or other works submitted by the institution that they work for. Jury shall decide about awards based on the Rulebook of the Exhibition, Regulations and Program of the 23rd Urban Planners’ Exhibition and following criteria: 1. Creativity of the planning solution; 2. Innovation of methodology of plan making; 3. Promotion of the space covered by the plan; 4. Plan feasibility; 5. Plan legibility. During the opening ceremony of the 23rd Exhibition, the presentations of the awarded works will be held as well as following manifestations.

The payments shall be carried out in local currency by the middle course of NBS (National Bank of Serbia) on the day of the payment. Participation fees that are listed above refer to one applied work. Only works that arrive on time and with evidence of participation fee payment will be taken into consideration.

Application and submission of students’ works will be held at the Faculty of Architecture University of Belgrade, with remark "ZA 23. SALON" / "for the 23 rd International Urban Planners’ Exhibition", address: 11000 Belgrade, Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 73/II or via e-mail: antonic83@gmail.com (contact phone: +381638309337, Branislav Antonić), where selection of student works will also be held in the period between 13th-17th October 2014 after what selected works will be exhibited.Deadline for applications and student work submissions is 10th October 2014.
