What is OPEXShare?
• A new Cloud-based web platform designed for collecting and sharing operating experience– Captures many different types of content– Provides user friendly viewing– Promotes direct user data entry and real-time
sharing
Migration
• In 2013 the Hanford Site migrated from Hanford Information and Lessons Learned Sharing (HILLS) OPEXShare.– Added functionality to improve user interface and
collaboration– Mobile friendly– Improved administrator functionality including
public/private setting– Enables larger user community
IT Platform
• OPEXShare is written in cold Fusion with a MS-SQL database backend.
• Login ID's and passwords are database encrypted. Four levels of application access exist, User, Content Admin, Site Admin, and Super Admin.
• Each with a defined application role and access level
