P.S. Can’t wait until April? Check out the online Resource Centre, where you can find complimentary whitepapers, interviews and additional learning resources!

Like you, here at PEX Network we’ve realised that no matter how excellent your processes are, they are of little value if they aren’t effectively rooted into your business operations, and being used to continuously improve your bottom-line performance. So PEX Week Europe has evolved, and I’m pleased to welcome you to to Operational Excellence and Process Transformation Week!

Most organisations have woken up to the importance of process in driving long-term strategy, but actually embedding Operational Excellence into the DNA of your business and ensuring that those minor changes that could add up to a huge competitive advantage are actually actioned by your ground-level employees is a completely different story.

Here’s your chance to be the catalyst for change within your company, and crack those long-standing challenges:

• How can we engage employees from both the top-down and bottom-up to develop a business culture of excellence and continuous improvement?

• How can we digitally transform our business operations and capitalise on process analytics to make truly insight-driven decisions?

• How can we shift our focus from processes to outcomes to ensure continued value for both the business and customer?

At Atoll we deliver agility into Digital Transformations. Our story began in 2001 when Atoll was created as the software subsidiary of a consulting firm. Through our experiences in numerous enterprise transformation initiatives, we realised that a clear architecture diagram can significantly improve decision making, both in speed and quality. During agile software developments, we observed that architecture planning is increasingly important to establish a common understanding. Therefore, we decided to create SAMU (recognized by Gartner) to empower people to make the right decisions before and during transformation initiatives. Unique to the market, SAMU generates engaging and accurate visual diagrams about the changing architectural landscape and provides an easy-to-use toolset for transformation planning and impact analysis. Companies using SAMU can adapt more quickly to changes in the market, customer needs and technology advancements. The web-only, yet robust and flexible application, is available either as an on-premise software or as a cloud based service.

London: The Home of OpEx Week EuropeDecided to take an extra day or two out of the office? PEX Network have put together some of our favourite London hotspots.

Things to seeThe British Museum (nearest station – London Bridge)This world-famous museum exhibits the works of man from prehistoric to modern times, from around the world. Highlights include the Rosetta Stone, the Parthenon sculptures and the mummies in the Ancient Egypt collection, to which entry is free!

The Tower of London (nearest station – Tower Hill)One of London’s most iconic buildings, this 900-year-old palace, prison, jewel house, zoo and execution place is one of the best ways to understand the history of the British monarchy. Visitors can take a tour with one of the Yeoman Warders, gaze up at the White Tower, tiptoe through a medieval king's bedchamber and marvel at the Crown Jewels.

Things to doTake a flight on the London Eye (nearest station – Waterloo)The London Eye is a major feature of London's skyline, boasting some of London's best views from its 32 capsules, each holding up to 25 people. If you’re short of time, this is a great way to view over 55 of London's most famous landmarks – all in just 30 minutes!

Be entertained by London’s finest street artists (nearest station – Covent Garden)Covent Garden has long been famous as the home of some of London’s finest theatres, restaurants, and even the Royal Opera House but increasingly it’s the street theatre that draws the biggest crowds! Artists range from violinists and opera singers, to daredevil fire eaters, and to clowns and magicians for children... Just wander around and see what you stumble across!

Places to eat and drinkIn a city as big as London, it’s almost impossible to pick the best restaurant or bar, however for the widest choice, head into Soho (nearest station – Oxford Circus). Alternatively if you are looking for something specific, Brick Lane is famous for a curry (nearest station – Aldgate East), Chinatown is clearly the best place for Chinese (nearest station – Leicester Square), and for traditional East London ‘pie and mash’, head to a branch of Manze (most central one is near Elephant & Castle Station)
