SHARIA LAW

LOOK LIKE?

Sayyid Qutb regarded Christianity as a threat to

Islamic redemption. He condemned Christians

for their separation of the sacred from the

profane, God’s world from Caesar’s, calling this

division a “hideous schizophrenia,” which

reflected the very corruption [Fitnah] he set out

to correct.

Christians had created liberal societies, in which

“God’s existence is not denied, but His domain is

restricted to the heavens and His rule on earth is

suspended.” Islam’s task was “to unite the world

and the faith,” a mission to repair the world by

bringing about the rule of God’s law on earth.

(IAMS) in 2015, where it has also been

officially registered…to prepare scholars in

various fields like Sharia, economy and

others, and will only fight against those who

are hostile to the Islamic nation [= Ummah].

Abu Abdel Aziz, a modern-day Jihadist who fought in

Afghanistan & Bosnia, said: “I have found that the best

sacrifice we can offer for the sake of Allah, is our souls,

then our possession[s],” then quoted from Quran 9.111 –

Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons &

their goods; for theirs is the Garden (Paradise): they fight

[Qital] in His cause, and they kill, and are killed [Qital].

Since the Quran guarantees Paradise to those who kill

and are killed, what reward do they receive? The

famous virgins & wine: “Indeed, We have produced the

women of Paradise in a creation and made them virgins”

(56.35-36), “fair women (Houris) with large eyes”

(56.22), “full-breasted” (78.33). And, along with the

women of Paradise, come “rivers of wine delicious to

those who drink, and rivers of purified honey” (47.15).

Quran 9.73Jahidi – fight hard against Disbelievers

جهاد Jihad – ‘Striving for the Cause of Allah’

Oh Prophet, fight hard [Jihad] against

the disbelievers [kufara] & the

hypocrites [munafiqina], and be harsh

[or stern] upon them. And their refuge is

Hell, and wretched is their destination.

And slaughter them wherever you overtake them

& expel them from wherever they have expelled

you, for Fitnah is worse than slaughter. And do

not fight them at Al-Masjid Al-Haram until they

fight you there. But if they fight you, then

slaughter them. Such is the recompense of the

disbelievers.Quran 2.191Fa’uq’tuluhum – kill/slaughter them

And kill them wherever you overtake them & expel

them [drive out] from wherever they have expelled

you, for Fitnah is worse than killing. And do not

fight them at the Al-Masjid Al-Haram until they

fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them.

Quran 2.191Akhrijuhum – expel them [drive out]

oppression is worse than killing. And do not fight

them at Al-Masjid Al-Haram until they fight you

there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is

the recompense of the disbelievers.

And never let them avert you from the

verses of Allah after they have been

revealed to you. And invite (people) to

your Lord. And never be of those who

associate others with Allah (Al-Mushrikina)

Quran 28.86Wa’Udu – And invite (people)

Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the

Last Day & who do not consider unlawful what

Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful &

who do not adopt the religion of truth from those

who were given the Scripture – [fight] until they

give the Jizyah willingly, while they are humbled.

Quran 9.29Haram –Allah has made unlawful

حرام Haram – ‘Forbidden,’ Unlawful’ or ‘Unclean’

They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved

so you would be alike. So, do not take from them

allies until they emigrate for the cause (fi sabil) of

Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and

kill them wherever you find them, and take not

from among any of them an ally or helper.

Indeed, those who disbelieve – it

is all the same for them whether

you warn them or do not warn

them – they will not believe.

And they [disbelievers]

schemed (‘plotted’), but Allah

also planned, and Allah is the

best of schemers (‘plotters’).

Quran 3.54Wamakaru –And they schemed

مكر Makara – ‘To Scheme’ or ‘To Plot’

Oh you who have believed,

persevere and endure and remain

constant (strong) and fear Allah,

that you may be successful.

Quran 3.200Warabitu – and remain constant

رباط Ribat – ‘To Strengthen’ or ‘Guard Against’

We made them a precedent

[of retribution] & an example

for the later peoples.

Quran 43.56Salafan – a precedent

سلف Salafa – ‘What Was Before’ or ‘A Precedent’

Let not believers take disbelievers as allies,

rather than believers. And whoever [of you]

does that…has nothing with Allah, except when

in fear from them, as a precaution [for the sake

of protection]. And Allah warns you of Himself,

and to Allah is the [final] destination.

Quran 3.28Tattaqu – in fear from them

تقي Taqiyah – ‘Precaution for Sake of Protection’

And prepare against them whatever you are able of

power & of tethered (Ribati) steeds of war by which you

may terrify the enemy of Allah & your enemy & others

besides them whom you do not know [but] Allah knows.

And whatever you spend in the way (Fi Sabil) of Allah

will be fully repaid to you & you will not be wronged.
