SAFEGUARDS & TIPS
Please read and follow the safety instructions carefully before you use the Food Vacuum Sealer Electric Air Sealing Preserver System:
1. Please check if the local power supply voltage matches the voltage indicated on this appliance before use. 2. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged power cord or plug. Do not operate the appliance if there is any malfunctions or damage. If the cord or appliance is damaged, it must be returned to the authorized
service center.
3. To disconnect the power, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. Do not disconnect by pulling the power cord.
4. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or it is service agent or a qualified person to avoid a hazard.
5. Do not use an extension cord with the appliance. 6. When the appliance is not in use or needs to be cleaned, please unplug the cord from the power outlet first.
7. Do not use the appliance on wet or hot surface. 8. Do not immerse any part of the appliance, power cord/plug in any type of liquid. 9. Use only accessories or attachments recommended by the manufacturer. 10. Use the appliance only for its intended use. Do not use the product outside the work area.
11. Close supervision is required when children use the appliance. Do not play with the appliance as a toy.
12. Allow the machine to rest for up to 40 seconds between each use to prevent damage to the unit.
13. Do not use continuous dry burning, which will damage the heating wire and Teflon tape.
IMPORTANT TIPS
1. Vacuum packaging isolates microorganisms from the air, but it cannot destroy microorganisms on the food. Perishable foods, such as raw and cooked meat, still need to be refrigerated or frozen after vacuum packaging.
Low temperature can inhibit the growth of microorganisms.
2. For better sealing, please use the vacuum packaging bag with textured surface, you can contact Belifu to buy.
3. During the vacuuming process, if liquid, debris, or food particles are drawn into the vacuum chamber, please clean the vacuum chamber after use.
4. Fill food less than 3/4 of the bag. Or the overfilled bag will slide out of the vacuum chamber while sealing. 5. Two sides of the original vacuum bag are made by a special process. It is recommended not to cut the side of the original vacuum bag. The self‐made side lines do not meet the vacuum requirements.
6. Keep the bag stretch flat before vacuuming.

STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONS
A. Locking Hook: Press the cover down until it clicks to lock the bag into place. B. Sealing Sponge Gasket: This helps create an Air Proof seal for the vacuum, to prevent leaking and give better suction.
C. Heating Bar: 3mm width sealing bar make good seal. D. Inner cutter: Use it to cut roll bags for satisfactory length. E. Cutting bag guide: Move the guide to fix the width of the roll bag. F. Release Button: Press the release buttons on both sides of the unit to unlock and open the lid to take out your freshly sealed food.
G. Vacuum Chamber: The bag must be placed within the vacuum chamber for the vacuum to work properly. H. Rubber Lip: Helps to flatten opening for better seal. I. Vacuum Nozzle: When pumping external vacuum canister, wine stopper or other accessories, insert the hose into the nozzle gently. Do not block the nozzle when using or it will cause damage to the unit.
J. Canister Button: Press this button to activate the vacuum packaging to an external canister. K. Silicone Sealing Strip: This helps create an Air Proof seal for the vacuum, to prevent leaking.

1. "Mode" button: 2 settings (Normal and Gentle). The default mode is Normal. When the food is crumbly, press the button to change the mode to Gentle. You can manually control the degree of vacuum by pressing
“Seal” button at any time, the food will be sealed automatically. Gentle mode is use for cookies, marshmallows,
and other fragile items.
(Note: if the power is interrupted, this setting will return to a preset standard mode).
2. "Food" button: 2 settings (Dry and Moist). The default mode is Dry. Press the button, changes to Moist mode. You can choose the mode according to the food type. (Approximate recommended intervals are 40
sec).
3. "Stop" button: Allows user to cancel any operation immediately. 4. "Seal" button (with LED): Press this button to seal bag with no vacuum (Allow for up to a minute for the unit to cool down after).
5. "VacSeal" button (with LED): Press this button to vacuum and seal the bag (Allow for up to a minute for the unit to cool down after each seal).

2. Roll bags: Depend on your food or items. Cut the required bag size by inner cutter and sealing one side of the bag by vacuum sealer.
VACUUMING & SEALING
1. Put and flatten the opening of the bag in the vacuum chamber, ensure the bag does not cover the vacuum nozzle (If using a roll, you need to cut the size of the bag you need, and seal one side first before continuing).
NOTE: Place bag in the vacuum chamber accurately, or it will not be able to vac seal.
2. Press the cover down until you hear a “click” sound, which indicates the locking hooks locked correctly, then choose vacuum or seal.
NOTE: The "click" sound is loud and your hands can feel the buckles are locked.
3. Click “VacSeal” button, the machine will start vacuuming. After the vacuum, the “Seal” LED light. It shows the machine is sealing automatically. The default mode is Dry. When the light disappears, you could choose
Moist Mode easily.
NOTE: For the food with more moisture, after the vacuum sealing, press the "Seal" button once more to improve the sealing effect.

4. After the sealing done, press the “Release Buttons” to unlock and open the lid, then take out the sealed food.
NOTE: When the unit is not in use, please do not lock the buckle. If the buckle is locked for a long time, the sponge strip will be deformed and affect the vacuuming effect.
SEAL VACUUM BAGS AND VACUUM CANISTER

1. Plug the appliance in and switch it on. 2. Insert the opening of the bag into the vacuum chamber as the above pictures. 3. Press down the latches of two sides at the same time until two click sounds heard. 4. Press the “Seal” button and you will find the LED will light, When the Led light disappears, the seal is done. 5. Press “Release Button” to open the appliance, then take out the sealed bag.
PRESERVATION WITH VACUUM BAG
1. Plug the appliance in and switch it on. 2. Put the items that you want to preserve inside the bag. 3. Clean and straighten the opening of the bag, make sure there are no wrinkle on the opening. 4. Insert the opening of the bag into the vacuum chamber as the above pictures. 5. Press down the latches of two sides at the same time until two click sounds heard. 6. Press the “Vac/Seal” button and the LED will light, then the bag will be automatically vacuumed and sealed. When the LED light disappears, the process is completed.

7. Press the release buttons at two sides, then take out the sealed items.
Note: If the food is wet, please choose Moist mode. But it is better not to vac/seal the moist food.
PRESERVATION WITH VACUUM CANISTER
1. Connect the connector accessory on the vacuum outlet and outer storage (storage bags or containers) 2. Keep pressing the vacuum outlet power button, until you feel the vacuum status were complete. Then remove your finger on the button.
3. When vacuum finishes, remove the connector on the machine and outer storage.
Note: Please do not lock the lid when you are not using the machine as it will cause the gasket deformation.
How to use vacuum canister and stopper
1. Place the food in a vacuum canister. 2. Plug in the power supply first, and then press the locks by hands, the indicator lights up (the default is Dry). 3. Put the items inside the canister and cover it with the lid, insert one end of the hose into the Suck Air Hole on the appliance, then insert the other end into the hole on the top of the canister lid. 4. Press the "Canister" button or "VacSeal" button, it begins to draw the air from the canister and creates a tight seal. Keep pressing the vacuum outlet power button, until you feel the vacuum status were complete.
Then remove your finger on the button. 5. Unplug one end of the hose from the canister first, then unplug the other end from the appliance. When the stored items expire or need to be removed from the canister, please press down the button in the center
of the canister lid to deflate the air, then open the canister after a few seconds. 6. The use way of vacuum stopper is same as above.

TIPS ON USING CANISTER:
Please remove the lid before you put the canister in microwave oven. Place the canister in refrigerator for better preservation.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Do not operate or store the appliance in humid or wet areas or outdoors. This appliance is NOT intended for use in boats or moving vehicles. Do not use any accessories, attachments, consumables, and spare parts
(e.g. foils, bags, vacuum containers), which are not recommended by the manufacturer. Do not operate the
appliance, when the appliance or any part of it is likely to be damaged. Damaged or unsuited parts could
cause injuries and damage due to overheating, implosion, and electric shock.
2. Before each operation, ensure that the vacuum chamber is completely empty. Always ensure that the vacuum pump will not be sunk in any liquids. Immediately cancel the running process by pressing the STOP
button if liquids are sucked in.
3. Operate the appliance on a well accessible, stable, level, dry and suitable large table, or counter. During operation, please keep the appliance in an appropriate distance of at least 10cm on each side. Keep at least
50cm of free space in front and above the appliance for free access.
4. Do not place any clothes or tissue or other objects under or on the appliance during operation, to avoid risk of fire, electric shock, and overheating. Do not place the appliance or any part of it on or near hot
surfaces (e.g. burner, heater, range, or oven).
5. Keep in mind that the heating bar and sealing bar will get hot during operation. Do not touch the heating bar and sealing bar with your hands or any delicate objects shortly after operation.
6. The vacuum sealer is intended for vacuuming and sealing the designated bags, and vacuum containers only. Insufficient or damaged vacuum containers may burst (implode) when vacuumed, leading to a high risk of
injuries and damage according to splinters and splashes flying around. Before vacuuming, vacuum containers
always check the containers for any type of damage (e.g. cracks, distortions, or dents). Unsuited foils, and
bags could cause overheating, and fire, or stick down to the sealing or heating bar. Do not overfill the bags or
containers to avoid damage and overheating. Do not place any foreign objects into the appliance. Always
handle any vacuumed containers with special care to avoid injuries and damage due to implosion, hurling
splinters, and splashes all about. Do not expose vacuumed containers to heat or mechanical or thermal shock
or direct sunlight.
7. Risk of explosion and fire! Do not seal or vacuum containers or bags with filled with any inflammable substances (e.g. alcoholic drinks or food, organic solvents)!
8. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads for cleaning the appliance or any part of it. Do not clean the appliance with any corrosive chemicals (e.g. bleach). Do not use any hard or sharp‐edged objects for
operation or cleaning. Always handle the heating bar, sealing bar, and vacuum gaskets with special care. DO
NOT place the appliance or any part of it in an automatic dishwasher.

HELPFUL HINTS
1. Do not overfull the bags, leave enough length at the opening of the bag so that it can be placed in the vacuum chamber easily.
2. Ensure that the opening the bag is not wet. A wet bag may be difficult to melt and seal tightly. 3. Vacuum seal cannot completely replace the refrigeration and freeze. Perishable foods still need to be refrigerated or frozen.
4. Make the opening of plastic bags clean and flat, no foreign objects or folds allowed, otherwise it will cause difficulty or leak during seal.
5. To prevent wrinkles in a seal when vacuum sealing bulky items, gently stretch bag flat while inserting into the vacuum chamber and hold it until the pump begins to work.
6. When you are vacuum sealing items with sharp edges (dry spaghetti, silverware etc.), protect the bag from punctures by wrapping item in soft cushioning material, such as tissue paper, you may need a canister or
container instead of a bag.
7. When using accessories, remember to leave 2.5CM (1‐inch) of space at top of canister or container. 8. Pre‐freeze fruits and blanch vegetables before vacuum sealing for the best results. 9. Intervals for 40 seconds after seal or vacuum is recommended. 10. If you are unsure whether your bag was sealed properly, just reseal the bag.
CARE AND CLEANING
1. Always unplug the unit before cleaning. 2. Do not immerse the appliance in water on other liquid for cleaning. 3. Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean, because it is easy to scratch the surface of the appliance. 4. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth or sponge with mild soap if necessary. 5. To clean the vacuum chamber, wipe away any food or liquid with a tissue paper. 6. Dry thoroughly before using again. 7. Clean the liquid box termly as the picture below.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Nothing happens when you try to vacuum package
1. Check if the power cord is tightly plugged into electrical outlet. 2. Check if the power cord is damaged. 3. Check if electrical outlet is working by plugging in another appliance. 4. Make sure the latches are in the locked position. 5. Make sure bag is placed correctly inside Vacuum Chamber. 6. Allow the appliance to cool for 40 seconds before using it again.
Note: To prevent overheating of the appliance, allow the appliance to cool for 40 seconds before using it again, and keep the cover open.
AIR IS STILL IN THE BAG AFTER
1. Make sure the opening of the bag is placed entirely inside Vacuum Chamber. 2. AIR IS STILL IN THE BAG AFTER VACUUM: Examine the bag whether it leaks. Fill bag with air, then immerse it in water and apply pressure. Please use a new bag if bubbles appear, which shows a leak.
3. Please check the seal of bag. A wrinkle in the bag along the seal may cause leakage and allow air to re‐enter, just cut bag, and reseal.
4. The Belifu bags are manufactured with special side seams. Do not attempt to make the side seams for Bag by yourself, because it may cause leakage and allow air to re‐enter.
Note: The smooth bag can only be sealed and cannot be vacuumed.

reseal.
2. Sometimes moisture or food material (such as juices, grease, crumbs, powders, etc.) along seal prevents bag from sealing properly. Cut bag, wipe top inside of and reseal.
3. If you vacuum package sharp food items, bag may have been punctured, use a new bag if there is a hole. Cover sharp food items with a soft cushioning material, such as a tissue paper, and reseal.
4. If there’s air still in the bag, fermentation, or the release of natural gases from inside the foods may have occurred, when this happens, food may have begun to spoil and should be discarded.
5. Vegetables and fruits that are too fresh belong to green plants, which emit photosynthesis by themselves. Fermented products also emit gas by themselves. These two types of food are not suitable for vacuum sealing
and will swell internally.
6. Try not to vacuum seal the freshly heated ingredients, because the temperature is too high. The heated food itself is large when vacuum sealing. After temperature is cooled, caused the volume to become smaller,
which causes the original tightening. The ingredients have become loose, like a leak.
7. The bag is filled too much during vacuum sealing, and the bag mouth is not flattened, resulting in a gap after the bag is squeezed and squeezed.
11. After the vacuum sealing is completed, the sealing strip must be a line, which is smooth and correct. If
the bag is not placed properly, it will form a gap. If there is a gap, seal at the top once more.
8. If there is still no vacuum after locking the machine, but the sound of vacuum can be heard. Then it might be a problem of deformation of the sponge strip caused by long‐term locking buckles. The whole sponge strip
can be pulled upside down and put back to re‐test or press the machine by hands when the machine is
vacuuming. If it is indeed a sponge strip problem, please contact customer service to replace the sponge strip.

If the bag melts, rubber lip may have become too hot, always wait at least 5 minutes for appliance to cool
down before you vacuum package another item.
CANNOT SEAL
1. The food influence: If the food is too wet to seal, or the bag is thick, then please select "Moist" mode, and after the vacuum sealing, press the sealing button once more.
2. The ordinary food cannot be sealed. Touch the position of the heating wire after the sealing, if there is no temperature, the heating wire has been burned out. Do not operate continuously. Allow the appliance to cool
for 40 seconds before using it again. If the heating wire of the machine is burnt out, please contact our
customer service.
VACUUM SEALING AND FOOD SAFETY
The vacuum sealing process extends the life of foods by removing most of the air from the sealed container,
thereby reducing oxidation, which affects nutritional value, flavor, and overall quality.
Removing air can also inhibit growth of microorganisms, which can cause problems under certain conditions:
Mold – Easily identified by its fuzzy characteristic. Mold cannot grow in a low oxygen environment; therefore, vacuum sealing can slow the growth of mold.
Yeast – Results in fermentation, which can be identified by smell and taste. Yeast needs water, sugar, and a moderate temperature to grow. It causes also survive with or without air. Slowing the growth of yeast
requires refrigeration, while freezing stops it completely.
Bacteria – Results in an unpleasant odor, discoloration and/or soft or slimy texture. Under the right conditions, anaerobic bacteria such as Clostridium Botulinum (the organism that causes Botulism) can grow
without air and sometimes cannot be detected by smell or taste. Although it is extremely rare, it can be very
dangerous.
To preserve foods safely, it is critical that you maintain low temperatures. You can significantly reduce the
growth of microorganisms at temperatures of 40°F (4°C) or below. Freezing at 0°F (‐17°C) does not kill
microorganisms but stops them from growing. For long‐term storage, always freeze perishable foods that
have been vacuum sealed, and keep refrigerated after thawing.
It is important to note that vacuum sealing is NOT a substitute for canning, and it cannot reverse the
deterioration of foods. It can only slow down the changes in quality. It is difficult to predict how long foods
will retain their top‐quality flavor, appearance, or texture because it depends on age and condition of the food

IMPORTANT: Vacuum sealing is NOT a substitute for refrigeration or freezing. Any perishable foods that require refrigeration must still be refrigerated or frozen after vacuum sealing.
FOOD PREPARATION AND REHEATING TIPS
Thawing and Reheating Vacuum - Sealed Foods
Always thaw foods in either refrigerator or microwave ‐ do not thaw perishable foods at room temperature.
To reheat foods in a microwave in a Belifu Bag, always cut corner of the bag before placing it on a microwave‐safe dish. However, to avoid hot spots, do not reheat bone‐in meat or greasy foods in microwave
within a Belifu Bag. You can also reheat foods in Belifu Bags by placing them in water at a low simmer below
170°F (75°C).
Preparation Guidelines for Hard Cheeses:
To keep cheese fresh, vacuum seal it after each use. Make your Belifu Bag extra‐long, allowing one inch of bag
material for each time you plan to open and reseal in addition to the 3‐inch room you normally leave between
contents and seal. Simply cut sealed edge and remove cheese. When you are ready to reseal the cheese, just
drop it in bag and reseal.
IMPORTANT: Due to the risk of anaerobic bacteria, Soft cheeses should never be vacuum sealed.
Preparation Guidelines for Meat and Fish:
For best results, pre‐freeze meat and fish for 1‐2 hours before vacuum sealing in a Belifu Bag. This helps retain the juice and shape and guarantees a better seal.
If it is not possible to pre‐freeze, place a folded paper towel between meat or fish and top of bag, but below seal area. Leave paper towel in bag to absorb excess moisture and juices during vacuum sealing
process.
Note: Beef may appear darker after vacuum sealing due to the removal of oxygen. This is not an indication of spoilage.
Preparation Guidelines for Vegetables:
Vegetables need to be blanched before vacuum sealing. This process stops the enzyme action that could lead to loss of flavor, color, and texture.
To blanch vegetables, place them in boiling water or in the microwave until they are cooked, but still crisp.

Blanching times range from 1 to 2 minutes for leafy greens and peas; 3 to 4 minutes for snap peas, sliced
zucchini, or broccoli; 5 minutes for carrots; and 7 to 11 minutes for corn on the cob. After blanching, immerse
vegetables in cold water to stop the cooking process. Finally, dry vegetables on a towel before vacuum sealing.
Note: All vegetables (including broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, turnips) naturally emit gases during storage. Therefore, after blanching, they must be stored in freezer only

IMPORTANT: Due to the risk of anaerobic bacteria, Fresh mushrooms, onions and garlic should never be vacuum sealed.
Preparation Guidelines for Leafy Vegetables:
For best results, use a canister to store leafy vegetables. First wash the vegetables, and then dry with a towel
or salad spinner. After they are dried, put them in a canister and vacuum seal as normal. Store in refrigerator.
Preparation Guidelines for Fruits:
When freezing soft fruits or berries, it is best to pre‐freeze them for 1‐2 hours or until solidly frozen. To
freeze fruit in individual servings, first place on a baking sheet and spread them out so they are not touching.
This prevents them from freezing together in a block. Once they are frozen, remove from baking sheet and
vacuum seal fruit in a Bag. After they have been vacuum‐sealed, return them to the freezer. You can vacuum
seal portions for baking, or in your favorite combinations for easy fruit salad all year round. If storing in the
refrigerator, we recommend using a Canister.
Preparation Guidelines for Coffee and Powdery Foods:
To prevent food particles from being drawn into vacuum pump, place a coffee filter or paper towel at top of
bag or canister before vacuum sealing.
Preparation Guidelines for Liquids:
Before you vacuum seal liquids such as soup stock, pre‐freeze in a casserole dish, loaf pan or ice cube tray
until solid. Remove frozen liquid from pan and vacuum seal in a Bag. You can stack these “frozen bricks” in
your freezer. When you’re ready to use, just cut corner of bag and place in a dish in microwave or drop into
water at a low simmer, below 170°F (75°C).To vacuum seal non‐carbonated bottled liquids, you can use a
Bottle Stopper with the original container. Remember to leave at least one inch of room between contents

Preparation Guidelines for Make-ahead Meals:
Leftovers and Sandwiches: Efficiently store your make‐ahead meals, leftovers, and sandwiches in the
stackable, lightweight containers. They are microwaveable, top rack dishwasher safe and come with a custom
adaptor. The lightweight containers will be ready to head off to the office, to school or the great outdoors
whenever you are!
Preparation Guidelines for Snack Foods:
Your snack foods will maintain their freshness longer when you vacuum seal them. For best results, use a
Canister for crushable items like crackers.

The above data depends on the integrity of the vacuum packaging, and the freshness of the vacuum packaging
items at the time.
*Vacuum packaging can extend the shelf life of food to a certain extent, but it cannot keep it fresh all the time.
It is recommended to perform the vacuum in parallel with other measures such as low temperature and
sterilization lamps.

Problem Solution
Seal LED Flashing • Unit is overheated. Always allow 20 seconds between seals. Under heavy usage,
appliance will shut off automatically and Red Light will flash. Wait for 20 min. for
unit to cool off.
• Always wait 40 seconds between seals.
•Vacuum pump running more than 120 seconds. Under heavy usage, appliance will
shut off automatically and Red Light will flash. See next section Vacuum Pump is
running, but bag is not evacuating.

• If making a bag from a roll, make sure one end of bag is sealed. See How to
Make a Bag from a Vacuum Sealing Roll.
• Adjust the bag and try again. Make sure the open end of the bag in down inside
the vacuum channel.
• Check for wrinkles in bag along Sealing Strip. To prevent wrinkles in the seal,
gently stretch bag flat while inserting bag into Vacuum Channel.
• Open unit and make sure Gaskets are inserted properly and there are no foreign
objects, dirt, or debris on the Upper or Lower Gasket (See Care and Cleaning).
• Latch has been left in OPERATE position: Gaskets may be compressed.
Unlatch and allow 10 to 20 minutes for Gaskets to expand.
• Make sure the accessory hose is not attached to accessory port.
• Make sure the lid is latched down all the way. If the Latch does not catch the lid
and bring it down, there will be a leak between the Gaskets.
Gasket is loose or
has a tear
• Take out the gasket, clean it and reinsert the Gasket into the Vacuum Channel
(See Care and Cleaning).
• Contact us for replacement.
Bag is not sealing
properly
Too much liquid in bag, freeze before vacuuming.
• Check for food debris around seal area. If present, take out the gasket, clean it
and reinsert the Gasket into the Vacuum Channel (See Care and Cleaning).
• Bag has wrinkles: To prevent wrinkles in the seal, gently stretch bag flat while
inserting bag into Vacuum Channel.
No lights on the
control panel
• Make sure unit is plugged in.
• Make sure wall outlet is functional.

• Make sure there is enough bag material to reach center of drip tray.
•Always allow three inches (7.62 mm) extra space to allow the bag to seal tightly
around food contents.
• Gently stretch bag flat while inserting. Insert bag CURL DOWN into Vacuum
Channel.
Air was removed
from the bag, but
now air has
re-entered
Examine the seal. A wrinkle along the seal may cause air to re-enter the bag. To
prevent wrinkles in the seal, gently stretch bag flat while inserting bag into
Vacuum Channel.
• Sometimes moisture or food material (such as juices, grease, crumbs, powders,
etc.) along seal prevents bag from sealing properly. Cut bag open, wipe top inside
of bag and reseal.
• Sharp food items may have punctured bag. Use a new bag if there is a hole.
Cover sharp food items with a soft cushioning material, such as a paper towel, and
reseal.
• Fermentation or the release of natural gases from inside the foods may have
occurred. When this happens, food may have begun to spoil and should be
discarded.
Bag melts Sealing Strip may have become too hot. Always wait at least 20 seconds for
appliance to cool down before you vacuum seal another item.
• Use Belifu brand bags. Our Bags and Rolls are specially designed for units.
