    Open Your Eyes

Open your eyes to the world around you.

What do you see that frightens you so much?

Is it the fighting that goes on in wars

Or the fighting so close you get involved?

Not something to get yourself into

Though, forced to a place where theres no such thing as love.

Your eyes have been poisoned by seeing too much.

So young and innocent with the minds of evil around.

Not knowing that its wrong your mind carries on

Breaking the innocence like a tumbling wall.

    I Come To You

I come to you without a smile.

I come to you to confide.

I come to you because I believe in what you say

So why does it still hurt?

I come to you when Im down.

I come to you when Im lonely.

I come to you because you make me feel special

So why dont I feel special now?

I come to you to feel comfort.

I come to you to see hope.

I come to you to because I have nowhere else to go

So where do I go when youre not there?

    How Real Love Is

Round and round in circles, that you know so well.

You know that you wont get anywhere fast if you carry on with this.

Someone out there cares for you and wants you to be happy.

Why cant I see that in reality,

When I can say it and breathe it.

Ive been lost for so long and I want to be found again;By someone who knows I can be strong and show them the love they need

Its the love I need too.

    To Be With Everyone Else

You move from place to place without even noticing.

When you do finally realize how does it feel

To be so alone and away from everyone?

In the dark and out of sight,

Unimportant and useless; No one wants to know you.

You want to hide away from everyone,

Though no one even notices that youre there.

    Do you want to reach for the hand that can bring you to the light;

    Where everyone else is,

Where you can see who you really are

    And shows others this too?

You can see a light just above you but can never reach it.

Is it what you really want or is there somewhere else you have to be?Where you supposed to be here

Or did you skip to be near?

    Lost (Cant Lie)

Sitting in the middle of a room, looking into the mirror,

Staring at what is supposed to be me.

Then, suddenly, behind me I see my fate

Telling me its the only way out.

Its calling at me to come closer.

It knows I dont want it, yet, its tempting me.

I continue to stare, but now more closely at my face.

    Looking straight into my tearful eyes;

Wondering if I should give in for others,

    Like I did throughout my past;

Which is why Im in this room in the first place.

    Im going round in circles

And looking for a crack to get out.

I tell myself that nothing can be worse

Than where I am now.I cant lie like this anymore.

    In Your Room

    Once again, you find yourself looking at four walls;

Too scared to leave them and too scared of your own presence.

Always looking for something to turn to,

Even if it is something you hate.

Nothing ever turns to help youAs nothing ever realizes that youre there.

Only the fate that haunts you every day

Welcomes you to their arms and comforts you

In ways that you have never felt before.

    You think that its love

    When, really, its controlling you.

    Image of you.

I see you sitting there, when youre all alone,

By the waters you draw at everyday.

You think no one watches or notices you -

    But I do.

I have seen your paintings everywhere I go.The one I love the best

Is the one you painted of yourself -

Showing me who you really are.

    With your slender hips and those frightful eyes;

    Nothing can be as great

    As watching that image evolve

Into the woman one day youll be.

    We will be one and live together;

Just like you and the waters you drew at every day

    River (Reflections)

    The rivers we pass everyday

When the sun shines brightly down on us.

We look at our reflection while taking a drink.

But today the sun isnt so bright

And it changes the reflection you once had.The reflection you loved so much and was proud of

Has now disappeared and is never coming back.

All that is left of it are a few memories.

    They keep you here,

Hoping that one day theyll return.

    Soon they fade

    And all is quiet.

Now that river we pass everyday

Leaves us with the memory of you.

    Find Yourself

Run as fast as you can.

Through the fields and the hills,

    The forests and the woods,

    Past everything you fear

That used to be in your way.

    Change.

Change who you used to be

To turn into what you want to be.

The foul, shitty person you are,

With no one ever on your side.

Nothing you can do will make you feel better.

Everything is laid down in suffice.

    Are You Really Worth It?

How much longer have I got

To be the way I am?

When will it change for years to come?

    I have no real future

As where I am is not me.Will you keep running your energy down?

    Am I really worth it?

How much further is there to go

Until your energy doesnt flow anymore?

    Are you really worth it?

    To be a Bird

To be able to fly so high

And get away from the world.

Go where ever you want to go

And no one to tell you no.

    Go hide in your nest,

Up on the highest branch of the tree -Get away from humanity.

They seem to be the ones

Who always make you scared and lonely.

    Run

Run over past all the hope and dreams youve ever had,

Run past what you think you are,

Get out of the way as fast as you can

Before life becomes too much for you to take.

I know how it feelsWhen your life falls apart by others around you.

You have to keep the run up

To make it to the end.

The light and the love you have can help you go far.

Dont ever look back to that time again.

We dont want it to arise on you.

Just walk on by or run if youre scared

Everything will turn out fine in the end.

When life is almost gone from youHold on to the hopes that seem so far away

And let it run its course.

With your strength you can handle it now.

    Faith

Trying to find where you went wrong,

Only to find theres more than one.

The light ends its glow on you

Only because you asked it to.

How long is left to feel this way?I only live now because of your faith.

    Is that enough power forever

Or will it flow to a stop altogether?

    Slave to Sin

When the rumors begin to flow towards you,

The feeling of love has changed to despair.

You feel everyone is against you

And following the one who started the rumor.

    You begin to loose yourself.

The good qualities and skills you had disappear. You want to know where they went to

But you know exactly where they are.

The soul of the slave has taken them away from you

To try to make themselves feel better.

When a fight is brought out around you

And you get kicked in the face.

You fall to the ground, moan and groan

When you where the one who began the fight.

Your power wasnt big enough to help you.

Because of your slavery you lost. You still got to release some of your anger and pain.

Its why you started this fight in the first place.

When youve had enough of this life

And you begin to alter your mind

By taking something to ease the pain.

It shows how wrong youve been

When it wasnt your fault in the first place.

Youve become a slave to sin

And you cant find the place to forgive yourself

    The nights skies

    That we look upon,

    After being misplaced

    Bringing you to a place

    Never seen before.

Will you ever be able to trust yourself?

    And are you really misplaced?

    My Burden

Far away from the darkness into the light

And still you push me back.

Nothing I do will succeed for you.

    Still I have nothing to do;

So I keep traveling in your direction.

    Carrying your burden on my backWith my own locked deep inside of me;

Pretending I dont have anything to dwell on,

    Just to keep you going.

    Moving more towards my conscience

Believing more and more in myself.

I gain strength, though no direction,

But the direction that you made me go in.

Sooner or later, my strength will come out

    With a burst of flames burning your faceAnd I will be free;

But now with my own burden on my back.

    Dreams

    Dreams are fragile creatures

Who come and go throughout the night.

    They haunt you,

Try to make you change thoughts and opinions

And make you fall in to their traps.

Soon you have left this worldAnd joined them in theirs.

    Eyes

When you feel like youre on your own,

Upon this lonely and slow passing road,

It feels like you will never get off it.

You have been here for so long

(Its almost like youre going round in circles)

And there are no openings anywhere to be seen.

Theyre not there as you dont look.

You want them but you dont believe in them.

When you were to find one

Where would it lead you to?

So much wonder about the bigger picture

That we begin to feel comfortable where we are.

Try to get off this road

Before it takes away your existence;Yet, do it in your own way

    No matter how slow it is;

And never look at your life

    With someone elses eyes.

    Realise

The things you say to me I know are true,

Even if I tell you theyre not

You know I hide behind something thats fake.

Im the best actor you know

But I cant make it mainstream.

No one knows why this is,As no one has seen me act.

    They all have.

    They just dont know yet.

One day theyll see my light shining

And theyll realize that they dont know me.

    The Rivers

The rivers ripples and sway so peacefully,

While I sit along the bank.

Ive been there for almost four days

And the strain is starting to show.

To stay there so long is everyones dream

But mine is somewhere different; As to where I draw the line

Is where blood is flowing down that river-

And then I will have peace within me,

To look down at the river you love so much.

When the Pain is too Much

When the pain is too much for you to take,

When you feel like nothing is worth living,

    You want to go

And you feel its the best for you.

How will you go and when?Is it going to be harder than you thought it would.

When the pain is too much to take

And you know where you want to be

Why is it so hard to get there

When this is your only dream?

    Farewell

When I see you looking at me

What is it you think you see?

    Who am I

I have to ask myself everyday,

    Sometimes more.

I cant answer it most of the time. When I think about things I try to forget them.

    When you look at me

I dont want you to see me.

Most of the time I just dont care.

But when the explosions come to my head

    Farewell.

    Where I Belong

The forces dont push me anymore.

    I do that myself.

They have brought me down to where they live

And have made me one of there own.

I paid the price for this

And I cant go back anymore.

    They took everything I was;

    They took my soul.

    Now, I stand here alone,

    Nowhere to go.

They have left me to die

As they move on to haunt someone else.

Never letting their power goThey will keep hurting people

    The people who are weak

    And cannot see themselves.

It shows me just what I am now

And that I cant fight this crowd myself.

I need to gain my own power

To get to where I belong.

    Things That Slow Me Down

I look at myself in the mirror,

I see myself in a photo.

I am not able to see who I really am.

Things that slow me downThey slow me down too fast.

I cant help but fall into

Where Im not supposed to go.

These spirits (as they say they are)

    Are the ones to blame;

    Not me.

    I look at the wall

And I want to be there.

They drag me inUntil I cant breathe anymore.

    White Walls.

The darkened room with the pure white walls.

Eyes glaring, never stopping to notice they fail.

    They keep going, keep staring;

Keeping the others alive is what they think they are for.

They never stop to notice they fail.

Stepping forward, feeling like it's the right thing for you,

Walking frantically to what others want you to.

Lost in a world that will no longer be your own,

    With others pushing you to the ground;

Though only you can wear the golden crown.

White walls turn stained and fade away,

But never altogether; for the pain is not left behind.

Can it ever come true that these walls will disappear,

Never to be seen or thought of again

While the crown sits proudly on your head?

    The Same

All at once, in the same second,

Love and hate come from the same place,

    From the same person;

    The same body and heart.

The wind blows silently but furiously,

    In the same direction;

Giving the atmosphere for the same old stories

    Weve been told from childhood

To be told to our children

    In the same way.

The cycle of life stays the same but changes

    As time goes by;

Letting us be all the same but different

    At the same time.

    Failing

Only if we lived in a world

    Where love was all around

    Where evil didnt exist

And everyone was there for you.

Theyd keep you warm when coldAnd sheltered when alone.

Is this what people dream of?

What if we knew the centre of the universe

And had control of everything around?

No longer would there be a journey,

    But an adventure of others thoughts;

With only one person to keep them right.

All that we need is our own world

With a heart to release emotionsAnd a brain for our thoughts.

Only then can we experience life.

    The Fool

Foolishness will get you nowhere in life

And thats all that we can give.

    Push yourself to succeed

And all power is yours to keep.

But what if youre to become weak and non-understanding,From lack f communication -

Breakdown altogether and end in life a failure.

Falling to the bottom where no one ever matters.

    Carelessness brought you here

All along you thought it was right.

    An Illness

Wasting your life away by the demons in your dreams,

Talking to you as if they were real.

    Keeping everything away from reality

Until pouncing on your back and disappearing.

    Soundless night by floating away, not to come back for a week.Lost in darkness of what happens is false;

Denial takes over and belief becomes truth.

Running and dancing happy as can be,

Sadness takes over and all that is left is running from you in fear.

Sickness is an illness not yet known to you

With truth locked away in a box hidden from the human eye.

    A City Asleep

    Screaming in pain with no one to answer its call;

Never taking a break to rest

    As never getting any time.

Someone is always in the way

    In the corner of its eye, crying all alone;Just like you wish to do when all hopes and dreams have gone;

But you know the consequences of letting it in.

You want people to forget about you

So you can wither and rot away.

No one can fail you or hurt you in this place,

Which is what you wished for.

Only now that youve got it

It can work in the real world.

    Living in the City Streets

Rushing back and forth to comply your everyday needs.

    Passing the busy side streets,

That at night as as silent as the thoughts people pass by on me.

Searching the ground for fallen jewellery

That a passer-by has lost.As if they care for about the loss of something so small when

    In such an infinite area.

Time pushes itself backwards as the crowds get large.

Nights grow longer until the morning has came

When, once again, the hubbub starts all over again.

    The Mirror

all this time is where I stay

when full of love but there's no way

    everything in this world

come again without a wordwith the blue sky every day

the mountains come but never stay

through the snowy hills, Ill find the path

that will lead me to the only way

    what will become of me?

the only soul left to die

from everyone I know, it's the only thing left

the way in which I will become forever

when death comes to all of us

it will never be the way it was

as what to see in the windowpanecomes along every day

I will see you but once again

one day there is a hope

but when it is I don't know

when the rattles come along all day

and when you can't ever be free

    I'll see you for evermore

happiness comes but once in a while

and soon enough I can meet you there

with my reflection in the mirror.

    Sea and Land

Stepping out in front of a car

    Forgetting everything and everyone around.

Forgetfulness is a question carried without fear

Where the forest around can be nowhere in sight.

When the passion in life cannot be found

Only you, the sea and the land around,

    Everything else is dead.

    Is that enough for you?

Only the sea and land around

    With everything else dead.

Only you with the sea and land can survive.

    Ask yourself:

    Is that enough?

    From the Heart

Forces collide, confusing everything in its path.

In at the wrong time and place,

    Trying hard to get away.

Its really all down to pretending,

Changing truth around to become untrue;Lying to ones self to try to become free.

Sitting all alone on the old wooden rocking chair,

In the corner, no light reaching in.

Its a game thats being played along the white lines.

Played by those who once let you out from the corner

Only to push you further into your abyss.

    A lonely hand reaches out from nowhere;

Yet, you trust it with all your life.

Dragging you up the hill,When no longer can you face the world.

The sweet sound and colours of the great earth

Shall always be in your heart.

They take your power away to make them stronger

By mocking and spiting at you;Refusing to bring you to where they are.

Instead they trail you in the dirt that they once were in.

How much more lies can you take as the truth

If theres no one to speak the truth to and no one to trust?

Theres no such thing as self confidence

Only the worry of whats been set up.

The fear that comes with it keeps you from speaking out

As the steel hearts will always seem to win.

    Anger

Rushing gashes of wind blowing down trees.

Passers-by falling over to the ground.

    Movement comes in circles

    Not understanding what comes next

Nor how to get out of the circle.

    The Coffee Girl

Have you ever heard of the young girl

Who in all her tragic life became a coffee girl.

    No one wanted her around;

    Something she never understood.

Drove her to insanity and soon she needed help. She didnt like coffee so instead cherished her hangovers.

    Never did it do satisfaction.

Growing weaker and weaker as each day went by

    And needed something stronger.

Who will make the coffee now?

    Throw it all Away

How much longer have I got

While the poisonous snakes slither around me.

Not knowing what the future holds

As so much fear to get out of where I am.

    Unable to create a body of work;

Only able to lay there, until they go away.

How much further is there to go

Until my energy falls down to zero.

What is it worth to throw it all away.

    How Much

How much longer have I got to be the way I am?

So many ways for me to change.

I just dont know if I can.

    Warped inside an image

That Ive drew up for myself.

Living a life thought out by play instead of by plan.

How much further is there to go

Until my energy cant flow anymore?

The inner light of a pretend me

    Is now hidden far away.

    A Walking Failure

Nothing to show for what youve succeeded

Because no one wants to notice your wellbeing.

Theres no point for you to try to show them anything

You know they see you as less than the air they breathe

    They know youre important,

    They still ignore you.

What they have learnt is to hurt you. They never know how to heal.

They expect you to know the feeling

And never let the rain catch you out.

Its them who threw the pain at you

And then leave you to drown in your puddles of pity and shame.

Making thunderstorms that all are scared of

You have to walk through them

As theres no other route to take

No one to turn toOr no one to speak to

Scared and alone you carry on in your journey

And still you show nothing for your success.

    Cancerous Growth

    Silky snowflakes on your face

So soft and smooth; while gently lying in your bed

With the cancerous cells bleeding your body

Until no blood is left inside of you.

No more shall those vessels transport.

    The snowflake melts, motionless beauty

    Accentuated by minute watery motion.

    Snowy Hills

Snowy hills that have been walked though so many times

That theres no such thing as snow anymore.

Fiery storms pushing you further away into reality.

Nothing to keep you from going inside.

Even though the thought for the day was to not go

Daydreams still wonder though your head.

    Thousand Mistakes.

    Standing alone, looking up at the trees;

Feeling so small when surrounded with so much power.

Running away and you just get lost.

Going around in circles and not even knowing.

Its a long journey, with a thousand mistakes or more.

You will never know where the next turn will take you

Or how to find where you need to be.

    Breath

Looking at the same old scars

    Never coming back for breath.

You feel your anger being released

But you still dont go through the door.

While everyone is in front in life

    And you still sit without.

How far will the end be?

On the porch youre left alone,

Until the new door has opened.

Life is now but what is now,

And youre still coming through it.

If I knew where it was, I would take you there.

    Importance of Life.

    Hail the slaves for all that they hold is nothing;

The hard work they do until all bones are broken -

    Just like their broken lives.

They have once again became unnoticed and unwelcome

To the people they work for.

Hail those who suffer under armed forces;Pushed around, to wank themselves for pleasure until death.

In the dirt and dust they will lie alone

    Wondering how they got here and how to get back home;

Only now home is just where they are.

Hail all those who have been brought down

Out of themselves and forced to be someone else.

Someone with no thoughts of their own

And unable to know the time or dates

As fear of death comes upon them.

Lost in a world that is only known to their bodies -

    Forgetting the importance of life;

    While others fully clear themselves

To become pure as they were once before.

Those are the people who we will save,

    While others suffer in loneliness.

It doesnt make any sense but neither do I.

Full of emptiness, loneliness, wasting my life away.

Theres nothing for me to live for

And my mind deteriorates ever so slowly.

    The ground is twisting,

Pushing and pulling me further to the end of life.Mixing me up with rejections yet to come.

    Fall.

    Why are we here?

    Do you believe

    We should be near?

    What if it should fall,

    Fall down to you

    And make you lose?

    For youAre

    The only one

    To carry this load.

    Along the long road

    We all must travel.

What will we do when youre gone?

    Will we just carry on,

    Like nothings ever gone wrong?

We fall back downCrying all night long.

    For what we are wroth

    We will never but

    Fall.

    Life Without

Have you ever thought of this life without you

All the trouble and pain youve caused others

    Would never have happened?

Hidden away in the inward world,

The world that you call your own.

Ghosts and demons run around your mind,Screaming and screeching at you with all their might.

    Never able to fall asleep

But everyday falling behind and falling down.

Blame who you like They say but never shall we be blamed.

They force you into a place where lies becomes truth

And everything you once discontinued you begin to question.

Have you ever thought of life without them

Where all the trouble and pain to anyone

    Would never have happened?

    The Turnover

Will it ever be the way it used to be

With a mysterious path that hurt you so much

But yet you fed off it.

    Though, in agony, by yourself,

You loved every moment of your freedom.

Paying life away in a way that gave you pleasureThe turnover can strike the wrong card-

For the best and for the worst-

Where time is fast while everything is slow.

Let down by yourself with no one else to blame.

    Remorse and happiness fulfill together

The emotions of eternal life it seems.

Still, is there a fate that we cant seem to believe?

The only way to turn, when lost in a world

That youve been thrown into; Not knowing where you are or what to do.

Try to find your own world again,

    If its not up to your fate;

    Or find a new home

    Somewhere warm and hopeful

Even if the life you lead turns to nothing.

    Loving each person.

Yet, never been in love yourself.

    Love everything around,

    And not getting any back.

    Fighting for love,

    Hating for love,

Not knowing what love isYet loving everything all the same.
