개발도상국을 위한 오픈소스 GIS”라는 특별한 행사가 개최됩니다.

이 행사는 FOSS4G UN 특별 세션이라는 “FOSS4G 프레젠테이션”과

“UN과 개발도상국을 위한 오픈소스 GIS”라는 LH - OSGeo재단 공

동 세미나로 구성됩니다.

세미나에서는 UN Sustainable Development Goal(SDG)중 도시 분야

와 관련된 Open Source GIS의 역할과 활용가능성에 대한 논의가

이루어질 예정입니다.

During the SmartGeo Exop 2015 and FOSS4G Seoul 2015, We’ll have

special session named “Open Source GIS for UN and Developing

Countries.”

※FOSS4G: Free Open Source Software for Geospatial

This special event consists of FOSS4G presentation named “FOSS4G

UN special session” and LH-OSGeo joint seminar named “Open

Source GIS for UN and Developing Countries”

This seminar will discuss the role and applicabilities of the open

source GIS for developing countries regarding the UN Sustainable

Development Goal(SDG), especially in the urban field.

Mr. Kyoung-Soo Eom is the Chief of United Nations Geospatial Information Section (formerly UN Cartographic Section), UN Headquarters in New York. He will give a keynote speech about UN’s views, plans toward open source GIS at FOSS4G 2015 Seoul.
