OPENHANDED THEORY

Helping without expecting for return will lead to a better journey

Many of us are unconsciously so self- centered that everything we do, even within our

closest relationships is actually bartering rather than unselfish giving. This is one of the reasons

why a country is still not fully developed and not really reaches the good condition of the

economy. Just as in the Philippines, it is a culture of a Filipino for having crab mentality- it is

pulling down others who are improving from the status of their living; those people dont want

that others are improving or developing but then they themselves are not developing. These

people are thinking only about their selves and not thinking about the negative effect of pullingothers down.

When it comes in extending help, many people helped with wrong motives, they usually

extend help because of the expectation of a return more than what they give. This kind of help

wont result to the betterment of a country, since they will only help if they can assure of a return

but if theres no return for them they are seldom to extend their help.

When we give with the expectation of receiving something in return we are not really

letting go of what we are giving. If we do not let go completely, then we are still clinging to

whatever we gave.

We all know that there are very few who extend help without expecting for a return and it

is done only occasionally and there are some now a days that they are physically helping but the

desire and love to help is not really in them and there are also who extend their help because they

are obliged to do so.

There are beneficial effects when giving generously, giving feels satisfying, when you

give without wanting anything in return it opens up your heart to an enhanced sense of peace,

love and joy; Giving stimulates gratitude. Giving without expectation will elevate your personal

awareness of others. As a result, you will feel increasing levels of compassion and gratitude.

Giving attracts giving. What we put into the world has a powerful influence on what we receive.

The energy of giving has a very positive influence on how you experience your world. Giving

makes you aware of limiting beliefs. When limiting beliefs like selfishness and greed become

exposed to your conscious awareness, then you can work on letting them go. If you are unaware

of their existence, they remain active in your subconscious. If they continue unchecked, you may

wind up attracting the exact opposite of what you intended.

Again when you give freely without expectation, it can come back to you in some very

unpredictable ways. But remember, if you are giving simply to get something back, then you put

limits on the ways that you can receive.

The happiness that a person will feel is much when he gives or extends his help with his

heart and without expectations for any return.

Continue to extend help with a generous heart, even others are not doing so, let be an

example to many people in helping generously. Stop to bully and judge others in everything they

do, just focus on doing good to everyone even to your enemy, it should not be an hindrance to

help them, what is important is you can make them happy and you will be a good example to

them to giving generously. And if the majority of the people are practicing or doing these things,

the interdependence will be possible and truly it will have great impact to the economy, this

impact is positive because it will increase the good condition of the country. So let us give ourhelp unselfishly to others.
