Questions for today…

What is an OER?

Why would I want to use an OER?

Where can I find one?

How can I use one in my class?

Open Educational Resources

• reside in the public domain and are free to use for

teaching and learning.

• variety of multimedia, learning objects, tutorials etc. that

Websites such as National Geographic, Merlot, and Kahn

Academy provide tutorials, multimedia, simulations and

even assignments that can be easily added to any hybrid
