How SkeeterVac Works SkeeterVac is an easy to use stand-alone appliance that requires very little maintenance. Using the efficient, clean burning power of propane, SkeeterVac creates an atmosphere biting mosquitoes can’t resist: warmth, water vapor, carbon dioxide and odorants. Then it finishes off the job by trapping and killing those biting pests so your outdoor experiences are safer and more enjoyable.

AttractSkeeterVac uses a high-tech catalytic converter system to create specific volumes of CO2 and water vapor. The mixture is heated to a precise temperature range and blended with a time-release attractant from our FineTune Maximum Protection Bait System.™ The mixture is then released through dual delivery tubes by a powerful fan system. Wind carries the mixture to where the mosquitoes reside.

TrapThe female blood-seeking mosquitoes are misled into believing a host is in the area. They fly upwind to the machine where a strong fan vacuums the pests into a disposable trap.

KillOnce the mosquitoes are attracted to the appliance SkeeterVac vacuums them into a trap where they die from dehydration in a matter of hours. SkeeterVac operates unattended 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so it’s always protecting you and your family from biting mosquitoes.
