Welcome! Today is extra special because we have the opportunity to hear the Lamb family in concert. The Lamb family considers themselves to be an ordinary family with extraordinary opportunities. I think that they not only have extraordinary opportunities but they have supernatural power from the Lord. They are a family that loves the Lord, each other, and the world by what they are and with what they do. Their motto is “may Christ be heard in our music and seen in our lives.” In other words it is not just a show, but a family lifestyle that can be used by God to make a difference. I for one am looking forward to this amazing, talented, incredible, unbelievable family coming tonight to share their professional talent with gigantic heart! Their newest CD “Psalterium,” is centered on the incredible ability of the four siblings playing violins. When mom and dad were first married they were told that they could never have children; now there are four. The Lamb family will touch your heart, encourage you, and help to strengthen your family. Chisholm Ministry Center Food Collection- We will collect food for the Chisholm Ministry Center Food Pantry during the month of August. Children will distribute paper bags and lists today. Extra bags will be available at the guest desk in the Education Building.

Senior Adult Luncheon - Thursday, August 6 – 11:30 a.m. - After a delicious meal, this month’s Senior Adult program will be presented by Mr. Robert Stroud, a staff attorney with Legal Services Alabama who specializes in Elder Law. He will share and discuss legal matters that are of interest to senior adults. The cost is $5 per person and reservations should be made by noon on Tuesday, August 4.
