•Camera is triggered by contrast differences with respect to crossbelt
• Dark, non-reflecting products will not be detected
• Best detection position is in the middle of crossbelt
• Red Laser light is used for contrast detection
•Normal PEC is always leading, LPD detection is therefore only for products;
•<8mm (SCS700)
•<10mm (SCS1500)
•Low products only single cell loading
•Otherwise two products will be detected

OUR OBJECTIVE WITH THE CURRENT LPD
The LPD function is to detect objects which cannot be detected
by a standard PEC.

• At each side of the belt 30mm blind spot where
products will not be detected by LPD
• So 85% of SCS700 and 88% of SCS1500 belt is
within detection window
