Structure of a Typical Field Course

• Two weeks of intensive study• First week devoted to instruction, student seminars• Second week, work on independent projects• Written report submitted four weeks after completion

of field work

What does it cost?

•Tuition fees for 0.5 credit (~$530) to WLU•Accommodation and food ($475 – $2200)

•$250 deposit to WLU•balance to host university

•Transportation

How Do I Get My Credit?

Register for the appropriate course code in the appropriate term

• BI367 and BI391: Spring term• BI390 and BI392: Spring or Fall

•Modules in May–June: Spring term•Modules in July–August: Fall term

Permission to enroll will be set up on LORIS for you by the Biology Department

Pay your tuition fees to the UniversitySee the Registrar’s Office website for the appropriate

deadlines
