Our Goal: Develop quality Youth Prospects and Junior Prospects and advancing them in the sport of swimming through a comprehensive academy approach.
Our Athletes: Targeted swimmers are identified by PSO, NSO, and HPC-O: Females 13-17; Males 14-17
Our Academy Coaches: Experienced coaches tasked solely with meeting high performance needs of academy athletes. Coaches have the access to abundant coaching and planning resources.
Club Coaches: Are always encouraged to attend program rotations with their athletes.

PROGRAM OUTLINE
Youth Prospects: Designed for Females: 13-14, Males: 14-15 (T2T) (Based on Year of Birth)
Selection: Top 3 Ontario event rankings in Olympic events Ratio: 8-12 athletes per rotation, servicing up to 75 different Ontario swimmers per season Program:
Rotating 1.5 day visit periods with:
Three - 2 ½ hour water sessions
Five hours of sport science assessment and profile development
A nominal participation fee will apply
Each eligible swimmer would be provided services 3 times per season (October-January‐May)
Junior Prospects: Designed for Females: 15-17, Males: 16-17 (T2C) (Based on Year of Birth)
Selection: Top 4 Ontario ranking in 100&200m strokes Top 4 Ontario ranking 400m events Top 4 Ontario Ranking Distance events, including open water.
Ratio: 8-12 athletes per rotation, servicing up to 75 different Ontario swimmers per season Program:
Rotating 2 ½ day visit periods with:
Five – 2 ½ hour water sessions
Ten hours of sport science assessment and profile development
A nominal participation fee will apply
Each eligible swimmer would be provided services 4-5 times per season (September, November, January, April & possibly, June)
Para Prospects: Designed for Swimmers 12 and up (Based on Year of Birth)
Selection: Provincial & Can Am Qualifiers Not previously ID’d for SNC projects
Ratio: 12-20 athletes
Program: Rotating 2 ½ day visit periods with:
Five – 2 hour water sessions
Sport science assessment and profile development
Skill based delivery leading into the SNC SMART Camps
A nominal participation fee will apply
Each eligible swimmer would be provided services 2 times per season
(Fall - Winter) Our Support: In conjunction with Canadian Sport Institute Ontario, the program provides services such as sport medicine, biomechanical and performance analysis, strength and conditioning, nutrition, physiology, sport psychology, life and educational support.
Our Facilities: access to world class sport specific and multi-sport training facilities 2015 Pan Am Aquatic Centre at UTSC in Scarborough.
