old acquaintences and a great bond that

has grown over the past five years

together on the OHA board.

Along the waterfront in North Bay were

many beautiful gardens awaiting the

over 500 delegates as part of the

convention tours or just to visit on our

own during your free time.

‘Reflections of Ontario’ was the theme of the 99th Annual OHA Convention held at

Nipissing University in beautiful North Bay, Ontario on August 12, 13 and 14, 2005.

North Bay, we came across this special

garden dedicated to the 99th Annual

OHA Convention.

President, Ted Reed presents keynote

speaker, Bev Kingdon, the Swan Lady,

with swan ice sculptures.

OHA secretary, Bonnie Warner as she

very competently goes about her duties

behind the scenes.

Convention hostess, Vickie Wiemer,

director of District 18, welcomes

delegates to the 99th Annual OHA

Convention in North Bay.

tribute to Ted’s year as president.

OHA regretfully

our long-time

treasurer, Sybille

Schaufler, and

wish her well in

her new ventures.

This was the first time that the youth

delegates had been invited to attend.
