DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of the internship is to design and develop an electrical board and a framework capable of automatically calibrating a smart meter built with an integrated energy IC.

The board shall act as a bridge between the energy meter and the electrical reference source to calibrate the device based on the different inputs.

Study the electrical calibration process

Propose a hardware solution to adapt the different cabling situations needed during the process

Develop a software solution to interact with the meter device and set the calibration settings

Develop a front-end GIU to enable and set up the different parameters

Setup a test environment to validate the board

DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of the internship is to design and develop a building automation solution based on

open source IoT tools.

Benchmarking of the available open source RTOS designed for the IoT (zephyrOS, Amazon

FreeRTOS, TinyOS, ThreadX, RIOT, ARM Mbed OS, etc)

Benchmarking of the available free IoT platforms (Amazon Web Services IoT Platform,

Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, IBM Watson IoT Platform, Google Cloud Platform, Bosch IoT

Platform, Cisco IoT Cloud Connect, etc)

Propose a building automation scenario using the selected tools

Develop the solution using open source development tools including the cross-compiling

toolchain and the IDE

Setup a test environment to validate the proposed solution

DESCRIPTION:

Electromagnetic Compatibility EMC is a science that focuses on studying perturbations from their

origins, to their impacts as well as the solutions for attenuation. In this context, it is mandatory to

take into account these perturbations when designing electronic board and to apply specific

models for pre-standard methodology for tests. The proposed internship project concerns the

following functions:

- Deep analysis should be undertaken relatively to existent standards CISPR and IEC 61000

- Development of models and procedures for CEM test of our products, particularly for PV

monitoring systems.
