Learn the fundamentals of skiing & racing!

The mission of the Trollhaugen D-Team is to provide a safe, fun learning environment for skiers aged 6-18 to develop fundamental skiing skills.

We use the U.S. Ski Team and PSIA developed SkillsQuest program to drive the learning process. This is the same program used by Gold medalist Ted Ligety and Mikaela Shiffrin!

The D-Team’s weekly, skill-focused training is led by coaches who continue to expand their own professional experience with personal racing and training with both PSIA and USSA. We use directed free skiing, skill-specific skiing drills, skill-based training environments, as well as sectional and full course sets for a well-rounded approach. The end result are skiers that have fun while improving the ski skills they’ll use for the rest of their life.

After a series of training sessions, you’ll be ready to compete with skiers of the same age & gender in 4 scheduled in-season races.

The Trollhaugen D-Team offers a Saturday or Sunday program for your convenience. For the ultimate training experience, many serious skiers participate in both programs.
