Anderson CAD Online Protest Procedures

Step 1. Open your browser and route to www.andersoncad.net

Step 2. Click on ONLINE PROTEST

Step 3. Enter your Account Number exactly as it appears on your notice.

Please note that the Anderson County Appraisal District Online Protest Site is ONLY for Residential Property with a Homestead Exemption on file at the time of notice printing.

Step 4. Enter your 6 digit PIN # found at the bottom of your notice (i.e. PIN: XXXXXX) just above the black bar.

Step 5. Enter your telephone number and choose whether it is Home, Work or Cell.

Step 6. Select one or both options from the options list. (i.e. Value is over market value and/or Value is unequal compared with other properties.)

Step 7. Enter your opinion of value.

Step 8. Enter any additional information that is pertinent to your case.

Step 9. Choose whether you wish to receive a copy of the hearing procedures from the ARB.

Step 10. Click on the Submit button.

Step 11. Print your copy of the Online Protest Confirmation Form which includes your Confirmation Number.

Step 12. You have now completed the Online Protest Procedure.
