The Online TCSOL/TESOL Summer Dual Certificate Program is a collaborative online program co-sponsored by the Center for International Foreign Language Teacher Education (CIFLTE) at Teachers College, Columbia University and Osaka Gakuin University (OGU). Developed and taught by Columbia professors, this program provides participants with a strong foundation in linguistic theory as well as intensive training in the teaching of English and/or Chinese. The program’s focus on Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) also provides participants with a unique opportunity to strengthen their understanding of this branch of communicative language teaching.
