The area surrounding the property at 532 W Annsbury Street has beentransformed into a thriving hub of businesses, educational institutions, houses ofworship, healthcare providers, and social service agencies.

We do not want to live, work, study, pray, and play next to a junk yard.

We especially do not want the character of our community to be so painfullyimpacted by a property with a long history of L & I violations and anoutstanding Philadelphia Real Estate Tax balance of $130,076.32.

We therefore petition the City of Philadelphia Zoning Board of Adjustment to DENYPermit Application #580863 and Appeal #24548 granting the occupants of 532 WANNSBURY ST permission to use that land as a junk or salvage yard.

Denying this application for special exception to the I-2 zoning of 532 WANNSBURY ST will greatly enhance our quality of life and allow Hunting Park tocontinue its positive neighborhood transformation.
