9.INDIA -A Changed Country ,My country

1. SAFETY FOR WOMEN

The condition of women in India has always been a matter of grave concern. Times have changed but the mentality still prevails in the mindsets of several narrow minded Indians.I would like to see a changed INDIA ,a country safe for women.

2.Education of the massesThe area of higher education has been pampered but the sphere of primary education which lays the foundation of the country's literacy has been neglected totally. I would lay greater stress on primary education and make higher education a choice for the children and that also only according to their choice and merit.

3. Environment Conservation The Indian environment & it’s resources are being exploited indiscriminately without getting a concern for anyone .It should be stopped immediately. I want a country which respect mother nature for it’s gifts.

Censoring Bollywood Movies on Moral Grounds   Cinema is a forum to convey and communicate. It should be used to promote entertainment and not to spread filth. The sanctity of the entire medium should be preserved and the contents shown should be within an ambit so that it’s not deplorable and demeaning.

India is a land to the most avid movie goers. On an average 1000 films in various languages of India are produced annually. The movies are made keeping the

likes and interests of

people in mind. People from all

walks of life enjoy the amusement and cherish the

rhetoric of their superstars. The stars are considered demigods and their movies are followed blatantly and hence Bollywood has become a larger than life phenomenon.

But, with the recent trend in the Bollywood taking a sharp turn towards the western culture, the obscenity and vulgarity in the movies is on the rise. To add more spice to the movies, the directors are bringing in more brassy and flashy contents . They know people will definitely like the bawdy and racy contents which in turn would lead to higher earnings. It’s apt to say “Jo dikhta hai wo bikta hai “.But - Whatever is shown inside the cinema hall leaves an indelible impression on the mind. So it’s highly important that the content should be such that everyone can enjoy it without boggle.   

The Indian culture and tradition is one of the most revered in the world. People are very close to their rites and rituals. Still a Madhubala dancing under the shades of a tree is considered more decent than a sultry Sunny Leone showing her high jinks. You cannot sit back and watch a Emraan Hashmi movie with your family but a Dilip Kumar starrer would definitely unite everyone. Although we are embracing the western culture, fighting for a live-in relationship, standing up for the rights of LGBT community, but still a majority of our fellow Indians are yet not ready for a change. They need more time to accept the growing demand and bring a change in their mindset.

So, I would say that to maintain the dignity and decency, the movies should be thoroughly examined keeping everyone in mind and then only they be allowed for screening .
