Due to the large amount of money college requires , young adults are forced to work full-time jobs just to receive an education. Therefore online education allows the availability for them to do both. Students can create their own schedule and sometimes even finish school before some of the people who choose the traditional route. Many people do not find this as effective and claim there is low retention if you are only learning through a screen. Do the pros outweigh the cons? Without physically going to a class, you can miss out on the social impact college can provide. Being in class gives you more of an opportunity to connect with your peers and professor. The general means of communication for online education is typing and maybe video chats, which may not be enough. Some students feel at ease with the fact that they can do their schoolwork from their own home. Some describe the environment of a classroom as intense and stressful especially when it comes to test taking. Either method of education has its benefits but it is vital to do your research and know your options. You should make your decision based off of your needs especially when it comes to something as important as education. 1

Online Education vs. Traditional Education

Online education is no longer a thing of the past, it is becoming an option for many college students. Due to the large amount of money college requires , young adults are forced to work full-time jobs just to receive an education. Therefore online education allows the availability for them to do both.
