HMF’s online auctions ensure off-lease vehicles not acquired by your dealership move off your lot in a timely manner by providing other interested purchasing dealers:

• Easy-to-navigate site.• User-friendly purchase and bidding opportunities.• Inventory of used vehicles refreshed daily.

Plus, HMF offers a dedicated team to support dealers with their online purchase activity.

Online Auctions: Opening Purchases to Non-Grounding DealersOnline auctions can be accessed at hyundaidealerdirect.com. Grounding Hyundai dealers have an exclusive period of up to 48 hours to purchase lease return vehicles before the vehicles are offered for sale to other dealers—learn more in our Off-Lease Vehicle Grounding & Purchasing section in the library of reference materials.Should a grounding dealer pass on the grounded vehicle during their exclusive period, other dealers can then bid on these vehicles, as outlined in the diagram below. This section focuses on the periods in blue and the purchasing process for non-grounding Hyundai dealers.

Reliably ConsistentWith a significant inventory of off-lease vehicles, you can rely on us to consistently deliver a healthy volume of higher- graded used vehicles at fair market prices. Vehicles that make it to our online auctions are off-lease vehicles that are typically three years old or newer. They are often eligible for certified pre-owned (CPO) status. CPO vehicles tend to command higher prices than non-certified used vehicles.

Auction ScheduleAll bidding auctions begin at 1:00 p.m. (Pacific) and close the following day at 1:00 p.m. (Pacific), Monday through Saturday. Vehicles that launch on Friday afternoon will close Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with no auctions opening or closing on Sunday.

How To Buy Online – Hyundai DealersHyundai Dealer Direct offers a nationwide selection of the freshest vehicle inventory available for purchase, 24 hours a day. Non-grounding Hyundai dealers can find the perfect Hyundai using a variety of search methods, detailed on the following pages. In addition, there are three purchase or bidding options, which are discussed later, but allow dealers to:

Watchlist FeaturesWe offer several features to make monitoring your activity easy.

• Add a vehicle to your Watchlist to track its progress through the purchasing cycle. Quickly refresh Watchlist activity with the Refresh (1) button.

• Email the Retail View to a third party (not shown) – You can email a vehicle to a third party by first clicking through to the Vehicle Details page. From there, you will be able to select Retail View, which will allow you to click on Email Vehicle. A window will open where you can input the recipient’s email address and any notes you wish to share.

• The Add Note (2) feature allows you to add your own notes on the vehicle.• To assist with vehicle tracking, the Watchlist shows the status of a vehicle for the entire life cycle (until the unit is

sold or canceled).• View vehicles that you have bid on as well as vehicles you have tagged for interest, listed under Vehicles I Am

Complete a Fixed Price Buy Now PurchasePurchasing a vehicle at the Buy Now price may help you secure a popular vehicle before bidding escalates past the Buy Now price. The Buy Now option is available up until the bidding exceeds the Buy Now price or until the end of the scheduled auction. To make a purchase at the listed fixed price, select the green Buy Now button from the Vehicle Details page. You will be taken to the confirmation page where you will be prompted to:

1. Select the desired payment method;2. Select the desired transportation option, if offered;3. Review and confirm the terms and conditions for the purchase;4. Click Buy Now to purchase immediately

Once the purchase is complete, a Confirmation of Sale can be printed, or retrieved at a later time from the My Transactions page. You can learn more about My Transactions on the following pages.

BenefitSelecting CarsArrive Transport for vehicle transportation allows for consolidated billing. The total will be reflected on your Confirmation of Sale.

Place a Bid on a VehiclePlace a bid on a vehicle in real time by clicking on the Place Bid button from the Vehicle Details page.

To place a bid, you will be asked to:1. Provide your bid amount. This box is populated with the lowest available bid, but you are free to increase it to your

desired bid (see Place a Proxy Bid below).2. Select and input your desired payment method.3. Select your desired transportation option.4. Review and confirm the terms and conditions for the purchase.5. Click Place Bid to complete your bid.

Vehicles with bids placed by the dealer are automatically added to the Watchlist during the auction. You will receive email confirmations if you are the successful buyer at the end of the auction.

Place a Proxy BidIf you are interested in a vehicle but cannot actively participate in the auction, you can choose to bid by Proxy. A proxy bid is a bid that is placed above the minimum required bid. Once placed, the system will automatically bid for you against competing bidders in set increments until the maximum bid you set is reached. Please note, if a competing bid is placed which matches an existing proxy bid, the leading bid will be awarded to the bidder who placed the bid first.

BenefitWhen an auction ends, a proxy bid that meets or exceeds the reserve will be considered the winning bid, up to the reserve price only. For example, if your proxy bid is $11,000, the reserve is $10,000, and the auction closes at a bidding of $9,700, you will automatically be sold the vehicle for $10,000—$1,000 less than your original bid, ensuring the selling and buying parties are satisfied!

My TransactionsThe My Transactions page provides critical information pertaining to vehicles you’ve grounded or purchased. Search by VIN or run reports by transaction type. You’ll also have access to the following:

• Confirmation of Sale – View or print your confirmation slips.• Vehicle Location Information – Find where your vehicles are.• Vehicle Release Form – Download and print this form.• Open a Case – Request assistance with specific transactions.

Vehicle PaymentsBased on the payment method selected, you will be presented with details on the Confirmation of Sale page for each vehicle. Payment methods include wire transfer, dealer check, and ADESA FastLane ACH (automatic clearing house), which is shown below. In each instance, you will find the following information:1. Payment due date2. Confirmation of payment method3. Payment remittance instructions, including applicable mailing address

Vehicle Release to BuyerVehicles are released to the buyer or transporter when payment has been received and processed. A vehicle release form is emailed to the buyer when payment terms are met. The form can be printed from My Transactions once payment terms are met.

Vehicle TitleTitles for vehicles purchased will only be sent once payment for your purchase has been posted.

Vehicle ArbitrationPurchases are guided by the Terms and Conditions of the Hyundai Dealer Direct program and ADESA OPENLANE website. Please review carefully upon initial login.Vehicle Arbitration guidelines and timelines are fully defined in the Terms and Conditions and will be adhered to accordingly.

Customer Service PortalCustomer service requests can be communicated via the OPENLANE Customer Service Portal link in My Transactions. Select Open a Case. You will be prompted to indicate the area of inquiry from a drop-down menu to start a new customer service request. Select Continue.

A: No, in order to keep our pricing consistent and fair we do not negotiate prices.

Q. Can I purchase a vehicle through Dealer Direct using my current floor plan source?
