The 1949-50 basketball team and cheerleaders are plan-ning a reunion at the Homecoming activities at Oneida in Oc-tober. If you were affiliated with this team in any way, please join them for lunch and take some time to relive memories.

The members of the team were Roy Baker, Jennings Gilbert, Ralph Jones, Paul Dean Britton, Earl Shaw, Elmer Mobley, Jr., Ray Mills, Eddie P. Mobley, Charles Patrick, Rus-sell Mobley and Lester Barrett. The managers were Bax-ter Bowling, and Elmer Perry. They were coached by Gilbert Samples. The cheerleaders were Mary Ann Claybrook, Mar-jorie Young, Anna Jean Gregory and Ruth Baker. The mascot was “Sissy” Williford.
