BEST OF the
BESTAbout OneHockeyOneHockey was established by Sebastien Fortier in 1999 focusing on player training and development by holding summer hockey camps for players from the Western and Eastern United States. We began forming summer teams in 2002 and took our groups to many tournaments across Canada and the United States. Each time we attended a tournament, we left with many disappointments. We thought the tournaments were unorganized, not fun for the kids or parents, and really didn’t feel much different than a regular season game. In 2004, we decided to host our own tournament in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The tournament was a success the very first year. 8 years later we have seen 15,000 players wear our uniform and play under the OneHockey banner! We are now known to host the MoST coMpeTITIve and enTerTaInIng hockey tour-naments in the world. We have decided to divide the Philadelphia summer event divisions into two levels, gold and silver. This way our players can compete against peers of similar levels and enjoy better competition. Both our British Columbia and Massachusetts events are strictly open to gold level players. In 2012, we will be hosting a girls event in Philadelphia, PA.

We are proud to introduce you to our players
What a year it has beenThroughout the year, OneHockey and their scouting staff have worked very hard to identify the top players in North America. For the first time in 8 years we are proud to say that OUR TOURNAMENT level of competition ranks amongst the best in the world! And Guess what? We are not done just yet. In 2012, there will be many more elite players and teams at both our Spring and Summer Challenges.
Our players represented the following programs in 2011
I’m sure you’re busy winding down the activities from your tournament today, but I wanted to thank you for an incredible experience again at One Hockey in Philadelphia! Your tourna-ment reminds us again why we love hockey so much. It’s com-petitive, but not stressful, you meet great players from all over the world and the coaching is nothing but the best. – Joyce Mella, Connecticut, USA
Let me start by saying Jean Francois Jomphe is a very special person. He is the best motivator I have heard in a dressing room ever. OneHockey is truly a lifetime opportunity. With the announcement you sent out today on the new application process and the new Gold, Silver and Bonze levels, I was quite excited.–Duane, Toronto, Canada
Thank you so much Sebastien!! Dan Bishop had the
best time ever!! Coolest hockey experience of
his life!! The coaches for the 96 Encore team
were the best!! Thanks for everything!!
- The Bishop’s, Northern Ontario, Canada
Chase and I would like to thank you for being supporting h
im throughout the
whole tournament. This is Chase’s comment: “ The OneHockey
tournament was a
great experience in bringing high level players from aroun
d the world to come
and compete. I had a great time in Philly despite my injur
y. I will hopefully
be able to come back next year and actually play the whole
tournament.”
– Judy from Southern California, USA
