Inspiration

My best friend’s older sister, Natalie, died from Leukemia at the age of 3. She was fortunate enough to have her wish granted through The Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Locks of Love

• Non-profit organization that makes wigs out of donated hair for children with medical illnesses that result in the loss of their hair

• Donated my own hair to Locks of Love to kick start my senior project

• Got about 20 other people to donate their hair as well, resulting in about 30 ponytails and about 5 wigs for kids with cancer.
