About Zonta

Founded in 1919, Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy. With more than 30,000 members belonging to more than 1,200 Zonta Clubs in 67 countries and geographic areas, Zontians all over the world volunteer their time, talents and support to local and international service projects, as well as scholarship programs aimed at fulfilling Zonta’s mission and objectives. Our club vision and Mission 2016-2018

1. To continue to disseminate Zonta ‘s Advocacy to stop violence against women and girls. 2. To conduct seminar in various schools to all young students to prevent and reduce teenage

pregnancies and early marriage. 3. To grow awareness and visibility of Zonta by participating in various activities in advancing the

status of women with other associations. 4. To increasing membership in our clubs starting from friends.

Our Club History

Zonta International club of Bangkok 7 was founded on 1 December 2000 charter No. 1681 by Zontian Kanchari Buranasomphob. The recent initiative of Zonta club Bangkok 7 is a training program “Young Girls with Morality and Ethics Project” with purpose to promote and motivate awareness of the youth on Teen Mom and Teenage Pregnaney Prevention. and Zonta says “No to violences against women and girls.

Satreewatmahaprataram School Whose house was burnt under the fire on 4 Nov 2016

8 Nov 2016 Zonta Bangkok 7 organized the training assion for over 300 students at Satreewat

mahaprutaram Girls school under Royal Patronage for “Young Girls with Morality and Ethics Project”

with promote and motivate awareness of the Youth on. “Stop Teen Mom” and Zonta says “No” to

violences agains Women and Girls.

- 16 Feb 2017 Zonta Club Bangkok 2 join together organize the training “Stop Teen Mom” with

Zonta Club of Chiangrai and Zonta Club Bangkok 7 at Mae Yao wittayakom school Chiangrai.

- 17 Feb 2017 Zonta Club Bangkok 2 , Zonta Club of Chiangrai , Zonta Club Bangkok 7 will organized

the training “Stop Teen Mom” at Waweewittayakom school Chiangrai.
