• Undertaking the assurance activity of internal audit as well as the administration of the board, it’s committees and of meetings of the executive leadership team.
• Consolidating the coordination and government stakeholder relations functions (including correspondence, briefings and parliamentary process support) from the office of the managing director to allow better integration with One TAFE processes and systems

GOVERNANCE, LEGAL & RISK, AND OFFICE OF THE MANAGING DIRECTOR BRANCH BRIEFING ON PROPOSED ORGANISATIONAL CHANGES
GOVERNANCE, LEGAL & RISK, AND OFFICE OF THE MANAGING DIRECTORLOCATION PRINCIPLES
The rationale underpinning the location of roles within Governance, Legal & Risk Branch, and Office of the Managing Director
includes:
Adopting a location-agnostic principle as the baseline position
Considering whether a specific location is required in order to meet the performance requirements of the role, having regard to
the key relationships and accountabilities.
A corporate office location is specified if it is necessary to facilitate regular access for key decision makers, such as the Managing
Director, Chief Operating Officer, General Managers of People & Safety, Marketing & Communications and the Board, so that
immediate face-to-face advice is available for urgent management of issues arising.
A regional office location is specified for Business Partners – Risk, Audit & Ethics. This is necessary to establish information flow
from the Regional Business Units and TAFE Digital for the enterprise risk management, corruption prevention and internal audit
functions.
