One Sad Christmas Eve!
There once was a reindeer, as you may know already, named
Rudolph. Rudolph has a BIG, RED NOSE!!!! But one year, Rudolph got sick and couldn’t fly,
and that’s the story that I am going to tell you.
Once upon a time, Santa was walking to the reindeer stables. But one was missing! Do you know who it was, if you guessed Rudolph, your right.
Santa was stumped. ”Where could Rudolph be, we leave in 3 days for the
big trip!!!”
Rudolph was at home, sick to his stomach! Santa, hearing from Hermey, Rudolph’s friend the dentist, that he was sick, ran straight to Rudolph’s house.
Rudolph, was all cold and lonely at home. When Santa got there, he said “HO,HO,HO, what’s wrong Rudolph!” Rudolph said, “Santa, I’m sorry, I got
sick and left the stables, I don’ feel very good.”
Santa said, “HO, HO, HO, This could be a big problem!!” So Santa left, told Hermey thank you, and went home to
tell Mrs. Claus the bad, bad news.
“I can’t believe he got sick,” Mrs. Claus said. “How did he get sick
over night?”“I do not know,” said Santa.
“Beats me, Now I will just have to hope that he gets better before the
big Night!!”
So Santa went back home and rested over night. While Santa was asleep though, he had a bad, bad dream. In
his dream, Rudolph was still sick, so he had to go on the great trip, without
Rudolph leading his Sleigh!!!!
During the dream, Santa remembered a special magic powder he got from a friend, the friend said, “Santa, this
powder is so magical, that when you are sick, you will be healed if you mix this
with melted snow.”
When Santa finally found his magic powder down in the cellar, he rushed to Rudolph’s home to find Rudolph
on the ground asleep. Santa immediately woke Rudolph up, and
mixed the powder with snow, gave it to Rudolph, and then Rudolph was all
better again.
So since Rudolph was all better, Santa and the other reindeer were all happy and
had a great Christmas, because they didn’t get lost in the snow.
That Christmas morning, all the reindeer and Santa all danced for a job well done.
