    1 SST G2 FRAME

    Now available on nearly every ATV we make. The next generation and industry-exclusive Surrounding Spar Technology (SST) G2 frame from Can-Am. The welded-steel frame incorporates new processes and updated geometry for increased structural integrity, improved durability and precision handling. The more efficient SST G2 design offers increased strength compared to a traditional tubular steel chassis, a lower center of gravity and better handling, plus it requires far fewer components, materials and welds.

    2 DOUBLE A-ARM FRONT SUSPENSION

    With dive-control geometry for better cornering and vehicle-braking dynamics. Our Double A-arm front suspension uses a shortened spindle to reduce kickback and deliver better steering feel. The 9 in. (22.9 cm) of suspension travel increases trail comfort and aggressive riding capability.

    3 TORSIONAL TRAILING ARM INDEPENDENT REAR SUSPENSION (TTI)

    The only independent rear suspension that eliminates scrub and camber changes, meaning the wheels pivot up and down rather than in a butterfly motion like with competitors’ systems. This ensures the vehicle moves only in the direction you point it. It includes 9.3 in. (23.6 cm) of travel and an external sway bar for better body roll control in turns.

    4 214-MM DISC BRAKES

    Features outboard hydraulic disc brakes using large 214-mm discs with twin-piston calipers for superior stopping power.

    5 VISCO-LOK‡ AUTO-LOCKING FRONT DIFFERENTIAL

    Our exclusive progressive auto-locking front differential constantly monitors front-wheel speed. If it detects one wheel spinning faster than the other, it sends more power to the wheel with better traction. The rider doesn’t have to do anything to activate it. And the Visco-Lok auto-locking front differential comes without a speed limiter, unlike some competitors’ differentials.

    6 TRI-MODE DYNAMIC POWER STEERING (DPS™)

    The only power steering on the market with assist levels the rider can select. Includes three separate settings for variable steering assistance. Less assistance at high speeds and more assistance at low speeds. Plus, less kickback and more feedback with the industry-best 50:1 final gear ratio. DPS-equipped models include Visco-Lok QE auto-locking front differential, which performs the same functions as our standard Visco-Lok auto-locking front differential, but with an even quicker engagement point.

    7 COMPUTER-OPTIMIZED CAST-ALUMINUM WHEELS

    Our vehicles are built using principles of advanced dynamics we call Geometric Contact Control. Unwanted vehicle behaviors, like dive under braking and oversteering when exiting corners under hard acceleration, are kept under control mostly by the way the pivot points are positioned in space instead of by stiffening shocks and springs. You can then keep a more compliant suspension calibration, where all four wheels are kept in almost constant contact with the terrain. The result is superior sport performance and improved ride quality, comfort, traction, cornering and directional control.
