ROTARY CLUB OF VAPI – a Member Club of Rotary

International chartered in 1971 devoted to social work;

established in 1985 an Educational Trust named ‘ROTARY

FOUNDATION FOR EDUCATION AND LEARNING'

popularly known as 'ROFEL' to provide educational

facilities in the region at all levels. In the initial years, the

trust organized and awarded scholarships to local students

to enable them to study outside Vapi in various disciplines,

ranging from engineering and medicine to business

administration, arts and commerce. The Trust started the

first college (Arts & Commerce College) in Vapi in 1989,

followed by many educational institutions as follows:(a) ROFEL Shri G.M. Bilakhia College of Pharmacy, Vapi.(b) GIDC Rajju Shroff ROFEL Institute of Management

Studies, Vapi(c) ROFEL Shri G.M. Bilakhia College of Applied

ROFEL Shri G.M. Bilakhia College of Pharmacy is a

modern temple of learning founded in 1999 by ROFEL Trust

where quality education is more than a philosophy. It is one

of the premier pharmacy colleges, imparting quality

pharmaceutical education and training for more than a

decade offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in

Pharmacy. The foundation of the college was laid from the

generous donation from well known Industrialist Shri G.M.

Bilakhia.More than 900 Pharmacists (B.Pharm and M.Pharm

graduates) of ROFEL now hold prominent positions in

industry and academia, both in India and abroad. The

college is located in ROFEL Namdha Campus which is

about 1.5 Km from Vapi Railway Station and about 2 Kms

from Vapi GSRTC Bus Stand. The Vapi Railway Station is on

the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Rail Route. The ROFEL Namdha

campus is about 5 Km from GIDC-Vapi Gunjan Highway

Cross road on Vadodara-Mumbai # NH-08.

Objectives of programme

Soft skills refer to the Cluster of personality traits, social graces, facility with language, personal habits, friendliness and optimism that mark people to varying deprees.The main objective of soft skills are to: Develop effective communication skills (spoken &

written). Develop effective presentation skills. Become self confident individuals by mastering enter-

personal skills, team management skills, and leadership skills.

Develop broad career plans, evaluate the employment market, identify the organization to get good placement, match the job requirements and skill sets.

Take part effectively in various selection procedures adopted by the recruiters.

Eligibility for Participation

The Final year students of pharmacy from Gujarat

Technological University affiliated college. Final year

students from other discipline are also eligible, provided the

seats are available.

Registration Fee

Interested final year students are requested to send their

duly filled registration form duly attested by Principal / HOD

of Institute.

No Registration fee for pharmacy students of Gujarat

Technological University affiliated colleges. Certificate of

participation shall be provided only to delegates registered thtill 18 March 2017 and attended the programme.
