RASHTRIYA AYURVEDA VIDYAPEETH ( NATIONAL ACADEMY OF AYURVEDA ) ANNOUNCES ALL INDIA ONLINE CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION ON THE TOPIC “INDIA AT 75- GROWTH AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF AYUSH SECTOR – THE JOURNEY SO FAR” Brief background Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Sh. Narendra Modi, on the auspicious day of March 12, 2021 exactly a total of 75 weeks before August 15, 2022, launched the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' to celebrate 75 years of India's Independence. This initiative has been taken to glorify and acknowledge the social, cultural, scientific and technological aspects of growth, achievements and development in the country after 75 years of Independence. Being the India's deep-rooted scientific knowledge, AYUSH system of medicine has gain enormous popularity and acceptance around the whole world. The Ministry of AYUSH, in the recent past, especially in the present public health crisis has shown exponential and remarkable growth. The AYUSH sector has immense potential to be developed and considered as main system of medicine instead of being recognized as an “Alternative” system of medicine in Public Health-care sector. This creative writing competition emphasis on empowering young graduates of AYUSH to showcase the growth of AYUSH sector and articulate their views and opinions on the overall growth and achievements in the sector of AYUSH in the past 75 years of post- independence.

Evaluation and result:Ÿ Esteemed panel of judges will evaluate the contents and decision of the panel will be
final and binding to the participants.Ÿ The result of the competition will be displayed on the RAV website and also on the

Ÿ It would be the responsibility of the participant to keep themselves informed of any changes in the Term& Conditions/ Evaluation Criteria/submission date stated for this Contest.
Ÿ Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the competition/or the Term and Conditions/ Evaluation Criteria etc.
Participation Guidelines:
· The competition is open to all citizens of India including AYUSH students, Vaidyas and Hakims.
Important dates:
Start Date: 22nd April, 2021
Last Date: 20th May, 2021
Rules for submission:Ÿ The content should be submitted in the readable font of English (only).Ÿ Font size should be 12 with Line spacing of 1.15 only.Ÿ The word limit should not exceed 2000 words.Ÿ Personal information such as Name, Age, Year of college, Name of College, Email-ID,
Contact number should be mailed along with the content file. Mention of the name, contact number etc. anywhere in the body of the content will lead to disqualification.
Ÿ A participant can send one entry only. In case it is found that any participant has submitted more than one entry, all entries will be considered as invalid.
Ÿ The content should be original writing of the participant, due credit to the sources should be mentioned wherever required.
Ÿ Participants shall submit the personal information along with the attached soft copy (Pdf or Word format only) to [email protected].
