On the south-east coast of the Persian Gulf, Dubai is one of the seven Emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and is due to host the World Expo in 2020. Dubai’s World Expo 2020, is under the theme of “Connecting minds and creating the future,” and expects to attract over 25 million visitors across the six months from October 2020. Growth and future expectationsThe recession did hit Dubai, but later than the majority of the world, but that has now passed and business is booming again with a positive business effect throughout the city in the lead up to Expo 2020.
